Joallys POV
I woke up filled with excitement. Today was going to be my first day as an FBI agent at the BAU. I'll admit I was nervous after hearing they wanted me to join after the murder case in Vermont but this was the chance of a lifetime.
I got out of bed, took a quick shower, brushed my hair and teeth and got dressed. I picked a silk white button up shirt tucked into some black jeans and combat boots. I debated whether or not to wear my mothers necklace but decided to wear it.
It has been almost a year since my mom, Grace died. I felt that it would be a way for her to be with me in this exciting beginning to the rest of my life.
I grabbed my black glasses and my leather messenger bag. Hopefully I don't look like a nerd.
I got in my car from my small apartment and drove over. It was a quick drive considering I lived not 5 minutes walking distance from it. I parked and took a deep breath. This was it. This was where my life began.
