Chapter 3

Spencers POV

When the plane landed I gently shook Joallys awake.

"What happened? Who died?" She grumbled. Her morning voice was slightly raspy but to me it still sounded pretty.

"Well we're about to find out." I said helping her stand up.

"Thanks." She said while rubbing her eye. "You're so nice."

She booped my nose and went out the jet with Hotch while I stood there frozen.

"Pretty Boy." Morgan smiled. "You gonna fantasize about your little genius girlfriend or are we gonna save lives?"

"I am not fantasizing." I said. "Simply not understanding the booping of my nose."

"My personal opinion." Emily starts. "She's into you."

I felt myself turn red. Which made Morgan and Emily laugh.

We got off the plane and grouped into the SUVs. Me, Emily, Rossi and Joallys we're in one and the rest where in the other. While driving I heard Joallys phone ring.

"Joallys." She said into the phone.

Hey it's Hope.

"Oh hey what's up?" She asked.

I just wanted to let you know my dad and I are moving back to Missouri.

"Uhm. Can I ask why exactly?" She asked. At this point me and Emily were looked at her confused.

You're mom's not here so what's the point. It's what he says.

"We both know dad- I mean Jacob is an asshole." She said trying not to cry.

Joallys... The decisions made. We're going to be gone by tonight.

Then the phoneline cut. She wrapped her arms around herself after putting her phone down. She realized everyone was looking at her.

"What?" She sniffled.

"What was that?" Emily asked.

"Nothing it was just my sister." She said wiping her face with her hand.

Emily and Rossi went back to looking forward. Soon we were at the police station and we all got out the SUV.

Before Joallys could start walking I went to her and gave her a hug. She was tense at first then melted into my chest and started crying.

"Shh. It's ok." I said rubbing her back.

"Why are you being so nice to me?" She asked.

"Because I know how you feel." I said resting my head ontop of hers.

She pulled away. "What do you mean?"

"Well my dad left when I was 9 and my mom's a paranoid schizophrenic." I said with a small smile.

Joallys POV

I was surprised that Spencer told me those personal things with me. I kinda felt important that I met him not even a day ago and he trusted me with this. I gave him another quick hug before Rossi came outside.

"Hey love geniuses, get in the car. Another body was found." He said walking into the car.

We drove 15 minutes to a quarry where there was a young woman was floating down in the water. My stomach turned at the sight of her face. It was disfigured due to being in the water for so long.

"It's ok. I was the same my first case." Spencer said grabbing hand.

"Thanks." I said.

"Hello. I'm Sheriff Lee." A man said.
