The next morning, Bakugou came downstairs only to find Todoroki having breakfast.
"I'm leaving.", Bakugou said.
"You sure?", Todoroki replied, "It's easier to drive to class with me."
"Oh? I'd love to!",Bakugou said in the most sarcastic tone, "No, dumbass. I'm not going to school with you. I'll call my parents or something.".
Unfortunately for him, Bakugou's parents were busy that morning because of work.
"UGH CANCEL THAT PLAN. I THINK ILL HAVE TO GO WITH YOU ICE-HEAD", Bakugou let Todoroki know.
"Mhmm, just as I thought."

Bakugou and Todoroki went their separate ways as soon as they got close to their school. It wasn't that they were afraid of being seen together (half the school already knew they were assigned to be partners) but rather they personally wanted to get away from each other as soon as possible — personal grudge some would call it.

"No, Kirishima, you don't understand. You don't have to deal with that half and half every assignment...trust me...it's a pain."
"Look! On the bright side, partners will be changing next semester! The teaching staff changed their mind and wanted to encourage socializing or something-POINT BEING, you won't have Todoroki as your partner anymore!",Kirishima replied. Bakugou and him were talking on the phone while studying but they had gotten...sidetracked.
"Yeah, except my next three months will be absolute hell. Also, where the fuck is Kaminari? Maybe that dumbass can tell me some of his stupidly, annoyingly bad ideas that actually sometimes work out."

"Midoriya, I truly thought you would understand out of all people. Bakugou is a menace to the peace in this world. A ticking time bomb. I really cannot take it anymore.".
"I'm not going to argue with you but just give him more chances. You know how he is...!"
"NO! ...*ahem*...I mean, no. He does not deserve anything good in this world. I swear if killing students was allowed, he'd be the first one to go and I would be the one to do so.".
"Are you okay? You're usually not this worked up.", Midoriya replied. Of course, it was true. No one at the school really made Todoroki mad or lose his mind like that. Except Bakugou.

"Your next task is...a sleepover! With your assigned partner of course.".
Since when was Aizawa Sensei "hyped up" about anything, you may ask? Well, ever since he assigned two of the most popularly annoying (but lowkey attractive) students to be partners.
"No fucking way.", Bakugou whispered. He was still processing it.
And Todoroki...he was ready to tell someone to dig up his grave.
