AUTHOR'S POV.....

Jimin can't quite describe how his life is, but one thing he knows is that he was born out of love, a very forbidden love. He was never supposed to exist, nor be born. His great great grandparents, an Angel, Angel Lily and just a mere human,Park Dawon, fell so deeply in love.

The angel , Lily, sent down to earth to take care of humans, saw a very young handsome and attractive man, succumbed to her needs( worldly needs) and fell in love with the man. The way he lived happily, worked at his wood carving workshop, she craved that sense of being ' human'.

She met with him, years later, the man also entranced by her beauty, falling in love at first sight. It was forbidden, to love , from the angels' heavenly commands, but she did it anyway, transforming into her human form, wings being cut off painfully,for her to exist in earth.

Cutting off of wings , was like cutting one's own hands, a very painful process, sure to leave two marks, but for the love of the man, she did it. And her doings were worth it, because she got the man, then fell so deeply in love , that despite warnings to never engage in intimacy, they did, leading to the birth of Park Mina.

Park Mina, great grandmother of Jimin, born from the lineage of angels, only had one motive in her life, shortly after her parents were killed by Jeon Suho. The vampire that ruined her family, killed her father and mother, as she watched, hidden in a silver cupboard, a place where no vampire could reach.

Hence,so her life changed, becoming a hunter, granted certain powers, from her bloodline, able to live for longer years than humans, but shorter than vampires. Trained and became a sworn enemy of the vampires.

She was known all around the world: Park Mina, Great Warrior of the blood of Angels, slayer of Vampires, powers exceeding man's comprehension. Until she got married too, had children and trained them fiercely, just for one motive( To Kill Jeon Suho) .

Unfortunately, she was also killed,by the same vampire that ripped off her parents' throats.( disheartening)

For years they were killed, threatened, forced to bow down to vampires. They weakened in strength and age, up until Jimin was born.

Park Jimin,
A very secretive man, the number of secrets that tie him and his life are gruesome and cannot be easily told. Trained from a young age, with one main life motto( To Kill Vampires) .

He had learnt his family's blood ties and painful history and kept it at heart, always. He was one of the lucky hunters remaining on earth, and had learnt to live with humans, like a dark creature , unknown to very few.

He was never the one to talk or fall in love, he had no time for that. He was quiet ,composed and tactical, hence it wasn't a surprise when he received the invitation letter to the masquerade ball.

He wouldn't call it luck, but fate instead. He was patient, for he knew patience pays. His reward was the entrance to the kingdom.

It wasn't like Jimin couldn't decide to use his powers and break into the kingdom, but it wouldn't be of any use. He didn't want to cause mayhem or destruction, he wanted slow painful revenge.

His ability to kill vampires was not known amongst any one, that would lead to death. But every silver object was always with him( since you couldn't know when the enemy strikes).

And as the day of the Massive Ball nears, his training is intense, his silver knives sharpened, his powers put into practice.

For he knows, the day of death is approaching, he can taste death on his tongue, happily waiting to kill Jeon Suho. The bastard is still living and kicking, but not for too long......

Jimin can't allow any distraction......
Though he regrets the moment he sets eyes on the doe eyed cold blooded, cute vampire.......
