"Come to daddy!" I say sweetly patting my legs
Lola just leans against the sofa gazing at me through her green glittering eyes
I'm sitting cross legged on the floor trying to coax to her walk
The girls in the swimming group say I shouldn't pick her up too much
She becomes too dependent and won't learn to walk
Lola starts towards me and I gasp but I coax her to remove her hands from the sofa
"Look what I've got," I say pulling out a single chocolate digestive from behind my back
