Art of Vengeance

Chapter Seven

"I tried taking Rex on a walk today." At the mention of his name, the dog leaped up to the bed and barked at the phone, that had Mary's face displayed on it.

She quickly waved to him, and then ushered Isabella to continue her story.

"I took him in their forest-" she continued but, was interrupted by Mary's shocked voice.

"Their forest, they own a forest?"

"Of course they do Mae, they have hundreds of companies." Isabella said.

"oh right forgot, I can't keep up with this media, company thing, only companies I keep up with, are yours and sometimes your fathers." Mary cheekily.

Isabella rolled her eyes at Mary, she's obsessed with her now father for over a month now, at first Isabella didn't mind it at all, but now? she found it gross.

"Ew mae" Isabella grunted.

"Whatever, continue." she waved her off.

"I took him at like eight? I don't know something close to that, I went out, haven't even stepped foot into the forest, oh right! I forgot to tell you, you know they have a house full of cars? and they're stacked on top of each other, when they want a car they just type the license number, and it's transported down to them by a metal thing- right I'm going off topic. "

But Mary didn't seem to mind she just started at Isabella through her phone and listened intently.

"Like I said, when I first got out the house, about twenty men, followed me, I caught one and I asked him why him and his mates are following me. At first, he didn't budge but, after a lot of persuading he finally gave up and told me, that apparently Theodore had ordered them to follow me everywhere in case he couldn't."

"He specifically said 'Don't let my beautiful girl out your sight.'"

Isabella recalled the moment, a small smile playing on her lips.

Meanwhile,on the other end of the line, Mary was gushing about 'My beautiful girl.'

"Come on Mae, he's my father."Isabella groaned out letting her head hit the headboard.

" Oh right!"Isabella stopped Mary's gushing of her father"I'm taking on a mission today."she announced.

"What why?" Mary asked confused.

"Need the money, I only have, ten thousand and something."Isabella explained.

" And ten is not enough?"Asked Mary raising an eyebrow.

"Not when I have a shopping addiction, and I'm in a new country."

" And how will you go out when you have to be with your family for games, and men will follow you everywhere." inquired Mary.

"That's easy, " she waved off "I'll just sneak out the window, new family is all asleep anyway."Isabella answered.

"I'll send you the details of one, I have to go now cariño, the food is burning." Said Mary.

"Okay bye Mae I love you." Isabella bid her goodbyes, then hung up when she heard Mary saying 'I love you too.'
