fourteen: goodbye, jisung

jisung was in his room writing in a notebook when minho came and hyunjin let him in.

"hey what are you writing?" the sound of minho's voice made jisung panic and he closes the notebook.

"oh, nothing" jisung stands up and gives him a peck. "what are you doing here?"

"can't I come see my boyfriend?"

"of course you can" jisung smiles. "I just didn't expect to see you here so early"

"well I'm so happy because I have you and I was able to get ahold of the company a couple of minutes ago they said they're gonna look at the security cameras"

"oh that's good" jisung shows a fake smile.

"I'm gonna go to the bank and also call officer seo to let him know, want to come?"

"oh sure, but I'll meet you there I have to do something first"

"okay" minho smiles and kisses him softly, jisung kisses back.

"I'll see you later then"

"yeah" they both head to the door.

when minho leaves, jisung has tears in his eyes when he watches him drive away. he closes the door and starts crying.

hyunjin goes up and hugs him.

"I should have never gotten you into this... I'm sorry hyunjin... I'm so sorry" he says through his tears.

"calm down now..."

"I want to turn myself in"

"what? why?"

"because I just feel guilty about everything, as much as it'll hurt I just know I have to do this... I can't keep lying to minho"

"but—"

"I'm not gonna turn you in though, just me. I'm responsible for everything"

"you can't do this"

"I can and I'm going to" jisung goes to his room and grabs his notebook to rip a page out.

"wait jisung! you can't!"

"I am hyunjin!" he hugs him before opening the door. "thank you for being my best friend"

"jisung don't!" hyunjin has tears in his eyes.

"let me do this!"

"no! I'm going with you!"

"no you're not!"

"but I'm your best friend, wherever you go I'm doing too, I'm just as responsible as you are anyways"

"I'm not letting you suffer"

"I don't give a shit about that!"

jisung goes to his car and hyunjin follows him to the bank, in the car ride jisung called the police and explained what happened.

he arrives and goes into minho's office with tears.

"hey what's wrong?" minho gets up from his chair.

"I'm so sorry"

"why? what happened?"

"here... just... read this..." police cars surround the parking lot and break in the bank.

"han jisung you're under arrest for the robbery of this bank" the officer arrests him while minho remains speechless.

"what...?"

"I'm so so so sorry" he starts crying as he gets taken out to the police car, hyunjin also getting arrested in the another car.

"mr. lee here's the security footage" officer seo comes up to him and shows him the footage from his phone.

"jisung...? you... he... why!?"

"based on the evidence it seems that it makes sense for it to be him anyways"

minho starts crying as he watches the police car where jisung was in drive away.

he goes back into his office and slams the desk as he keeps crying.

"I can't believe him!"

he sees the note and decides to read it.

you probably don't remember but over a year ago you fucked over my parents. you assaulted them and forced them to give money that they already did.

you opened your bank a couple of months before that, you've been rich your whole life from your parents who used to own hotel chains.
