Chapter V

       I sat up, groaning. It was all just a dream? Fuck. Why did I dream of that? Or even him in general? I don't love him, not in that way.  Never mind that, I need to get on the road. I stood, walking towards my wardrobe and sliding on my usual outfit. I then brushed my teeth, brushing my hair, and walking out the door, locking it behind me. I looked around Mondstadt, as I continued walking. Sara waved over at me. "Hello, Sara!" I smiled. "Hello, Y/N!" She exclaimed, joyful as always. I left through the gates, passing by Timmie. Eventually, I made it to the Dawn Winery. "Good morning, Adelinde." I waved. She waved back, then continued to clean. I stepped inside. "Hello, Diluc!" I felt my face getting hot. Shit. He waved back. "Hello, Y/N. There's been a change of plans, I'm going to make a journey to Liyue to talk to a jeweler and a tailor. I'd like to have someone for company, if that's alright with you?" The thought of spending more time with him than I usually did got me so excited and cheerful. "Yes, of course!!" He gave a small smile. "Right. Let's be off then." I nod, following him out. "Are we going to walk?" I asked. Not that it'd be a problem, but I was hoping we could, just so I could talk to him more. "Yes, I hope you don't mind." He replied. "I don't at all!" I responded with a hint of eagerness. He nodded once more, and we began walking.
