Over the weekend I don't do anything other that just lay in bed.

On Monday we start walking to school.

When we walk inside I notice people keep looking over to us. I ignore it.

Finn and I walk into first period. I go and sit by Donna.

"Hey Donna." I say.
"Hi Y/n." She says.

"Today you'll be doing a project." Mrs. Johnson says.
"Oh my god." I mutter under my breath.

"But you will be working with partners." She says. Donna and I share a look.

"That I will be choosing." She adds. The whole class groans against the idea. "Oh, quiet down." She says.

She goes over to the can of sticks with our names in them.

She starts to read them out.

"Donna." She says. I hope she says me. "Finney." She says.

I look back at Finn who has turned a light shade of pink. I smile at him.

"Robin."
"I feel bad for whoever it is." I say.
"Y/n."
"No fucking way." I whisper. Donna laughs.

Once everyone knows their partner I go over to sit next to Robin.
"Hi." I say dryly.
"Let's just get this over with." He says.
"Okay." I say.

We all start working and thinking of ideas. Most of ours resulting in arguments.

"See this is a bonding moment for many of you." Mrs. Johnson says.
"Yeah me and Y/n working together is really making us all buddy buddy." Robin mutters. I chuckle without realizing.

He looks at me weirdly, surprised I laughed at something he said.
"She can suck my dick." I say. He chuckles.

Once class ends we walk out.

At the end of the day we all meet up and Robin is no where to be found.
"Can we please just go?" I say.
"No, he always walks with us." Finn says.
"Well, it's not our problem he's gone." I say.
"Let's just keep going and we'll see if we see him." Donna says.
"Okay." Finn says.

I look over at Gwen with a 'so when I say it it's a no, but when she says it it's a yeah' look. She smiles.

We keep walking. We see a crowd of people. We run over.

It's Robin beating the shit out of Thomas.
"Look there sh-." Thomas starts to say before Robin hits him in the face.

"What the fuck is he doing?" I ask to no one in particular.

"Say shit like that again and I swear." Robin says standing up leaving poor Thomas a bloody mess.

The crowd walks off. I try to go to Thomas but Robin grabs my arm.
"What the fuck? Let me go." I say.
"Keep walking." He says sternly.
"No he's my friend." I say. He chuckles.
"No, he's not." I roll my eyes and shake his arm off.

I try to walk over and he grabs my shoulder and pulls me. I almost fall not expecting it. I push him.
"What the fuck is your deal?" I ask yelling at him. He just stares at me.
"Let's go." He says after a moment of silence. I turn to see Thomas getting up and walking away not throwing us a glance.

I walk past Robin not saying a word. He sighs.
"Why did you fight him?" Finn asks.
"I had reason to." He says.
"Oh, so you can fight my friend and then not let us know why?" I say pissed off.

He sighs.
"Stop it. I said I had reasons." Robin says.
"Then let's hear these reasons!" I yell now standing infront of him.
"I don't feel like ruing your day." He says walking past me.

I grab his arm and make him look at me.
"Robin, I swear to god if you don't fucking tell me right now." I say. He sighs looking over at Finn. He nods.

"He was saying shit about you." He says.
"Saying what?" I ask.
"Saying you took him to your bed after you left the baseball game." Robin says.
"Oh." I say suddenly feeling the need to cry.

"She didn't though." Gwen says.
"I know. I told him to stop but then he kept it going so I pushed him. He didn't really like that so he swung." Robin says.
"Thanks." I say looking up at him.
"Yeah, no biggy." He says.

We all walk in silence while I think. Why the hell would Thomas say that? And why would Robin defend my name?

"So, umm, when are we going to work on the project?" Donna asks Finn.
"I don't have anything to do today." Finn says.
"Okay, you can come over." She says.
"Okay." Finn says a light smile forming on his face.

"So, does that mean we should work on ours?" Robin asks.
"Sure, but you're not coming over." I say.
"Okay, my house it is." He says.
"Fine." I mutter.

I follow Robin to his house. We walk in. His mom smiles at him.

"Oh, hi Y/n." She says since she knows me.
"Hi." I say smiling kindly at her.

"Come on." Robin says sounding annoyed.
"Gosh, okay." I say. I follow him up the stairs.
"Ignore the messy room." He says.

He opens the door and we walk in. It's surprisingly not messy. He has a punching bag hung up. I've never been in here before.

"Wow, it looks like a hurricane came through." I say knowing it would piss him off.
"Okay, I get it. Can we just get this over with?" He says.
"Yeah, sure." I say. We sit down on his bed.

"Robin?" I say.
"Yeah?" He asks not looking up from the paper.
"Why'd you do it?" I ask.
"What?"
"Why'd you fight Thomas?"
"Because although you do piss me off all the time, it's not like you deserve to be talked about like that." He says.
"Well, thanks." I say.
"Yeah." He says smiling.

"I'm planning on confronting him about it tomorrow." I say.
"Good." He says. I smile.
"Maybe, I'll add one or two more bruises to the ones you gave him." I say. He smiles.
"You should. Just don't let him forget which are which." He says. I laugh.

Maybe this asshole isn't as bad as I thought.
