My eyes open carefully. I can see light coming in through the window.
"Are you up?" I ask out loud to Robin, still too tired to fully get up.
"What?" Robin says also halfway asleep.

"I wanted to know if you're up." I whisper. I can tell he smiles.
"Missed me already?" He asks.

"Stop it." I laugh.
"Stop what?" The Grabbers voice says. Robin and I both quickly sit up. I move back closer to the wall. Robin moves closer to me.

"We're hungry, and need food." Robin says.
"How are you Y/n?" He asks completely ignoring Robin.
"Hungry." I say.
"Well I can't bring you anything to eat you'll have to wait."
"Is there someone upstairs who will see you bring us food?" I ask
"Don't you worry abt that." I look at Robin.
"If you weren't going to feed us what's the point in you even coming down here?" Robin asks.
"I just wanted to look at you." He says.

Robin clenches his fist. I put my hand over it to keep him from doing something bad. He looks at me. The Grabber leaves.

I look over at Robin scared. He turns his hand under mine to interlock his fingers with mine.

I smile softly.

"I'm still tired." He says.
"Me too." I say laying down. He does the same but doesn't let go out my hand.

I close my eyes and let myself fall asleep.

The phone rings and I sit up. Robin is still sleeping. I pull my hand away from his.
"Robin." I whisper.
"What?" He asks not opening his eyes.
"It's ringing." I say.

He sits up.
"Answer it." I nod and walk over to it. I pick it up. It's just static.

"Hello? Is anybody there? Hello?" I ask. I look over at Robin scared and confused.
"Y/n." Someone from the phone says. I hang it up and move back as quick as possible.

Robin stands up and moves next to me instantly.

"What happened? Did it say something?" I nod. "What?" He asks.
"It said Y/n." I say.
"How is that possible?"
"I don't know." I say noticing my hands are shaking.

It starts ringing again. I stare at it.
"What?" Robin asks.
"It's ringing." I say. I pick it up.

"Don't hang up." The unknown boy says.
"I won't. Who is this?" I ask.
"I don't remember my name." He says.

"What's it saying?" Robin asks.
"He doesn't remember his name." I say.
"Why not?" He asks.
"It's the first thing you lose."
"First thing you lose when?" I ask.
"You know when."
"Oh."

I repeat it to Robin.
"Do you remember anything!" I ask.
"Well I remember playing baseball." He says. "And I remember you. I asked you to cheer at my game."
"Bruce." I say feeling an overwhelming amount of sadness.

"Yeah Bruce. I'm Bruce." He says.
"Did you hear the phone?" Robin asks.
"It rang but none of us heard it. Just you, Y/n. The Grabber hears the phone too, but he doesn't want to believe it." He says. I repeat it to Robin.

"Why are you calling us?" I ask.
"There's a dirt section of the floor in the hallway where the tile is loose." He says.
"Okay."
"Dig down underneath the foundation. I tried but there wasn't time for me to dig up the other side."
"Will we have enough time?" I ask. The call ends.

"Enough time for?" Robin asks.
"Bruce?" I ask hoping he answers. He doesn't. I hang the phone up and tell Robin.

We run over to the tile. I kick the ground letting it break. We peel it away and start digging.

I look at the pile of dirt.
"We need to get rid of the dirt." Robin says.
"Flush it down the toilet." I say.
"Go for it." Robin says. I take some of it to the toilet. I flush it down. I continue flushing all the dirt Robin digs out.

Once we get tired we go back to the mattress.

"I miss Gwen and Finn." I say. Robin smiles at me comfortingly.
"I know, but we'll see them again." He says.
"Yeah hopefully." I say.

"They're probably so worried." I say.
"Y/n it's okay." Robin says putting a hand on my knee.
"I'm scared." I whisper.
"Me too." Robin says opening his arms for me and I let myself fall into them.

The door opens after a couple seconds.

Robin and I pull away quickly.
He sets two plates of egg on the floor.
"What did you put in that?" Robin asks eying the food suspiciously.
"Salt and pepper." The Grabber giggles.

Robin looks back at me quickly.
"Eat it don't eat it, you're already down here. What do I need to drug you for?" He says before leaving.

The door didn't click.
"It's open." I say. Robin runs to it.

The phone rings.
"Don't." I say to Robin running to the phone.

"Hello?" I ask.
"Don't go upstairs." He says.
"Why not?"
"It's a trap."
"What's he saying?" Robin asks.
"To not go upstairs and that it's a trap." I say.
"Are you Bruce?" Robin asks standing next to me.
"Who's Bruce?"
"We were just talking to Bruce." I say.
"I don't know any Bruce." He says.
"He doesn't know Bruce." I say to Robin.
"He's the baseball player."
"We don't play baseball here." I repeat what he said to Robin.
"Who are you?" Robin asks.
"I don't remember."
"Did you play soccer? football?" I ask desperate for any clues.
"I delivered newspapers."
"Billy. You're Billy Showalter." I say.
"Billy?" Robin asks.
"Maybe."
"'No you're Billy." I say.
"Do not go upstairs." He says. I repeat to Robin.
"What is he doing?" He asks.
"He's waiting... on the other side with that fucking belt. He didn't say you can leave, so if you try, he'll punish you. He'll beat you with that belt until you pass out. It hurts kid, it hurts real bad. You'll cry, you'll beg him to stop. We all did. But he just keeps beating you."
"Hijo de puta." Robin says as I tell him. The call ends.
"Hello? Billy?" I ask. There's no response so I hang up.

We walk to the door. Robin opens it to look up. It's stairs. He closes it.

I walk over to the food.
"God I'm starving." I say.
"So am I." Robin says.

We sit and eat.
