𝐃espite Marlowe's childish love for movies, this military-action, full-on gunfight-one doesn't exactly take the cake. Not to mention it's also colorless, which, if it wasn't obvious enough, fails to spark her interest even more. She would likely have asked to leave, hadn't it been for her three friends' totally captivated stares.

Something shifts in the corner of her eye, and it attracts her attention to the boys.

"Hey, hey, where you going?" she whispers.

JJ casually reacts, "we gotta wring it out."

"You gonna hold it for each other?"

Kiara's reply makes Marlowe snicker, all the while uttering a hushed "gross".

The brunette forces her eyes back to the screen, one hand going for the paprika-flavored chips every now and then. Several moments pass with no trace of the boys' return, and it makes her gaze drift to where they'd wandered off minutes earlier.

A movement evidently out of place seizes her attention. It appeared from behind the screen, just far enough to the side that it had reached her inquisitive eyes. She instantly peaks over her shoulder, just to make sure the Kooks haven't left their seats.

Her blood runs cold.

"Hey, Kie?" she utters hurriedly, nudging her.

The girl follows her worried stare. None of the four are anywhere to be seen.

"Aw, shit."

"Come on."

As they turn the corner of the screen, Marlowe's blood has gone from frozen to smoldering. Kooks and Pogues have merged into a tangle of angry fists, and soon enough, the two girls are immersed in the whirlwind too.

She sees Kiara go full-in, yet she can't bring herself to be violent just yet. She's angry, but for the first couple of seconds, that anger is conveyed through her raw screams for them to stop. Her words drown in the fury of their actions, and it brings such a powerful, familiar feeling of frustration through her.
