Eddie stayed the night with me, cuddling and sleeping in bed.  I woke up with his arms tightly wrapped around me, like he's afraid to let me go.  I can't help but smile at him as he sleeps. I reached my hand to his perfect face, pushing his hair out of the way before I gave him a sweet kiss on the lips, waking him up.

"Morning sleepy head." I said to him as I watched his eyes start to open.

"Hmm? Morning Nightingale." he replied in his sleepy voice.

"You gotta get up, baby. I need you to go to school and bring home my work for me. 'Kay?"  I  pulled out of his arms as I sat up and stretched a little.

"I don't wanna go to school." He whined as he wrapped his arms  around my waist, pulling me back to him.

"I know you don't, baby, but I really need you to bring my work home for me so I don't fall behind." I smiled at him, cupping his sleepy face in my hands.

"Fine, but I'm only going for you." He said as he nuzzled his face into my hands. I leaned down to kiss him  before pulling out of his grip once again, getting up to go downstairs.

"Get ready, baby. I'll go make you something for breakfast and lunch." I told him as I left him to get ready.

I went into the kitchen, only to be met by Steve, already sitting down for breakfast. I started rummaging around in the fridge, grabbing out a couple of eggs and bread to make Eddie a quick breakfast.

"What are you doing up?" Steve asked as he watched me start to cook.

"I'm getting Eddie ready." I replied as I happily cracked the eggs into the pan and popped the bread down into the toaster.

"You're cooking for him again?" Steve asked as he finished his food and walked over to the sink to wash his dish.

"Of course I am. Why wouldn't I?" I asked as I grabbed a knife to butter the toast.

"You're acting like his wife or a slave." He scoffed as he leaned his back on the counter, crossing his arms over his chest as he watched me.

"No, I'm being a loving girlfriend, getting her boyfriend ready for his day."

"I can't believe that freak is making you cook for him." He realized what he said as soon as the word left his lips. "Shit, Mels, I'm sorry, I didn't mean it.

"Just shut up, Steve! He's not Adam! He's not making me do anything! I want to make him breakfast, I want to send him off with lunch. He doesn't MAKE me do a damn thing." I was pissed. Not only did he call Eddie a freak in front of me again, but he's assuming he makes me do things for him. We've only been together a couple of days, and Steve thinks the worst of him.

"Fuck, Mel. I said I'm sorry." He leaned off of the counter and looked at me apologetically with his stupid brown eyes.

"Just leave me alone Steve." I told him as I plated Eddies breakfast and got to work making him something for lunch.

Steve sighed as he walked away to go back to his room to finish getting ready for school. Eddie came down, passing him in the hall.

"Hey man." He said to Steve, only to receive a grumble in response.

"What's his problem?" Eddie asked me as he came into the kitchen, seeing the food I made for him. "Aw, Nightingale. You didn't have to go to all this trouble. I would have been fine with bowl of dry cereal." He said as he came up behind me, wrapping his arms around my waist, planting little kisses on my neck.

"It's nothing baby. You better eat it before it gets cold." I replied, tilting my head a bit at his kisses.  "And HIS problem, is that I made you breakfast. He thinks you made me do it or some shit. He said I'm acting like your wife, or slave or some other bullshit."
