Chapter 3 - A New Baby

Age reference: Y/n is 17, Techno is 20

Y/n and Sally talked a lot about baby stuff when the boys weren't around. The day before Sally and Wilbur left back to L'Manburg, Sally came to Y/n's room in the morning. She knocked on the door.

"Come in." A voice called from the other side of the door.

Sally entered quietly and shut the door behind her. She walked over to Y/n's bed, where the girl was sitting. She sat down beside the younger woman.

"Did you need something...?" Y/n yawned.

"I think I'm going to tell Wilbur the special news today," Sally whispered.

"Wait- really!?" Y/n exclaimed, her eyes shining.

Sally nodded her head. The two talked about how Sally would say, and how Y/n would help.

It was later in the day. A bit after dinner. Everyone decided they would go shopping, and they would all meet up back at the castle to see what they bought.

Tommy had gotten a fake sword, a nice shirt, and hair clip.

Technoblade had gotten some things to sharpen weapons, a new hilt for a sword, and a book.

Wilbur had gotten some books, and a necklace for Sally.

Sally had gotten a mug for Wilbur, a little blanket, and some earrings.

Y/n, on the other hand, had gotten a red baby jumper, a book, and a lollipop.

"Y/n, why did you get baby clothes?" Wilbur asked at one point.

"Because I wanted to?" Y/n smiled back.

Wilbur turned to Technoblade with a death glare, "I swear to god, if my sister is-!"

Techno put his hands up in a surrender like pose, "I did not. We did not. I'm not that bad, I promise!"

"Oh, no, no. Wilbur, you misunderstood me," Y/n grinned, "this is for you!"

Wilbur went from a death stare at Technoblade to a confused one at Y/n, "what-?"

"I'm not a baby-" the realization seemed to hit him like a bolder when he slightly looked to Sally who had a hand on her stomach.

"...Surprise!..." Sally smiled softly.

Wilbur's eyes glossed over, and his voice went a little bit higher, "really?"

Sally nodded her head.

"Awww... is Wilby gonna cry?" Y/n laughed softly when she saw a tear slip from his eye.

"No..." his voice almost cracked.

"Then what's that?" Y/n pointed to a stray tear.

Wilbur wiped it, then another one fell, "happy tears... they don't count, okay?" He said as he hugged his wife.

Y/n laughed, while Tommy laughed while crying, and Technoblade said congratulations.

Yeah, Sally received a lot of hugs that night.

Right before all of them went to bed, the five were sitting together.

"Y'know when you heard yelling the other day, then Y/n gave you guys the boot?" Sally asked while snickering.

"Yeah...?" Technoblade answered.

"That was Y/n when I told her I was pregnant," Sally started laughing.

Y/n joined in too, laughing, "yeah, and then you guys wouldn't leave!"

Wilbur huffed a laugh while Techno chuckled lightly, "we thought someone had been murdered, okay?" He spoke.

"Sure thing my friend," Y/n grinned at the man.

It had been about 6 months. Y/n was picking flowers with Tommy at the front of the castle. That was when a messenger ran up.

"Your highness! I come with a message!" The messenger ran up to Y/n and held a letter out to her.

Y/n opened the envelope and started to read the letter.

Dear Y/n, Tommy, and Technoblade

Me and Sally's son has been born! His name is Fundy. We can't wait for you guys to meet him.

Love, Wilbur

Y/n giggled, and let Tommy read the letter, who squealed.

"Thank you!" Y/n said to the messenger, before the two siblings dashed inside.

They ran down the halls towards Technoblade's office. The two burst through the door, scaring the hell out of the king.

"Y/n? Tommy?" He asked.

"Can we please, please, go to L'Manburg!?" Y/n and Tommy begged at the same time.

"Woah- what happened, why?" Techno asked with a grin.

"Fundy was born!" Y/n exclaimed.

"That's amazing, but shouldn't we let them have their time first?" Technoblade asked.

"God dammit..." Y/n cursed. "He's right, Tommy..."

"Noooooooo...!" Tommy whined.

"You both can wait a week." Technoblade laughed, making both siblings sulk.

Eventually, Y/n and Tommy got to go visit Sally and Wilbur with Technoblade.

Y/n picked up the small baby in her arms, cradling it.

"Awww," Wilbur laughed, "are you gonna cry?"

"No..." Y/n mumbled, "maybe..." she answered as her voice cracked.

Yeah, Tommy had already had "manly tears", as he called them.

Not really, as soon as he had a good look at Fundy, he had a tough face, but tears fell from his eyes like a waterfall.

Eventually Y/n handed baby Fundy to Technoblade, who somehow held him perfectly, with a kind smile.

"You're doing a pretty good job Techno." Wilbur said.

"Thanks." Techno said as he held the baby, before giving him back to Sally.

The three stayed with Sally and Wilbur the rest of that day, before heading back to the Antarctic Empire the next day, which Tommy and Y/n were upset about.

"I miss Fundy..." Y/n whined to Technoblade.

"You'll see him again." The man said, chuckling slightly.

"Yeah, yeah..." Y/n huffed.
