Part 3 : Shades of pink

Few tribals were standing around Dr. Ta and Dr. Goswami. Chief and his wife was sitting on two cane made chairs below their Totem, the sculpture of Leopard. Dr. Ta was speaking in Aftani, explaining their journey from the places and other places where Aftani's live and their life. Chief's wife interfered, then few of our clans who came in touch of barbers already lost their self esteem even the holy language learnt from our ancestors, it is heart breaking. Dr. Goswami without understanding her words told, no, actually they got more advanced and enlightened with the present scientific progress and getting medical help, government aids, modern education, beautiful wearables. Dr. Ta tried to stop Dr. Goswami, chief said, what kind of enlighten, if we burn you by night without lighting fire torches then how many fire-torches light it may compromise. Dr. Ta found a cold through his spine. He said to the chief, no master. Actually, we came to compare your language and other life styles with your other clans already in touch with outer world. How will you do that? Chief's wife asked. Dr. Ta said, we shall stay with you for few days and will try to learn the words which are not used in Aftani tribes spreaded other places and complete the linguistic gap. Very nice, Chief said, you may stay with us, with only one guideline to maintain, don't dishonour or try tease any lady, as actually I am also the exchequer of the clan's primary ancestor and chief of the village, my wife. His wife smiled and asked we shall provide you a hut and foods. If you have any other wish, you can open yourself as now nearly every person of the village is present here and their permission is important. Dr. Goswami took out a photograph from his purse and showed everyone. He told to the crowd and chief and her husband that, in the name of your primary ancestor, I swear that as Dr. Ta is here to understood your livelihood, I am here to find this person who is a proclaimed offender and organised several genocides and dishonoured thousands of innocent ladies. Normally people call him as 'The Poet'. In the name of Government, I must arrest him or shoot, so as he can no longer destroy people, property or integrity of the state. I have proof he is hiding somewhere near this place called Chief lady smiled and gesticulated a young boy to take care of the guests and provide two strong warriors to accompany them without any lack in duty. Thanks, Dr. Ta said with a pale face. The boy ordered by Chief lady took them to a small hut just outside the main village. Arranged fruits to meet hunger.
Two spear and sword bearing security position outside the door of Dr. Goswami and Dr. Ta. They saw their poker face.
After while Dr. Goswami and Dr. Ta was trying to enter in forest. Both the guards followed them. Couple of minutes' walk Dr. Goswami hesitated and eye gestured to Dr. Ta. He understood, told the guards that they now don't need guard, they may wait here till the guests return from nearby forest by within couple of hours. Guards didn't answer and followed them like before. Dr. Goswami and Dr. Ta left their hope to privately walk in forest and returned to their hut. The boy who was taking care of them entered the room. He frankly said that Chief told she ordered two more security to be with the honourable guests. As the forest is very dangerous. Dr. Goswami saw two near demon figure person is waiting outside with bow and arrows, long swords are hanging from their waist. Their care taker went. Dr. Goswami hissed Dr. Ta, I feel we are not guarded, we are their prisoners. Then how to do our work? Dr. Ta answered let me first meet the lady, if sweet words don't work, we have to be enough shrewd to escape from those guards. Again, after an hour they walked into forest. Four guards were marching as their van guard and rear guard. Walking in to the dense forest is not easy. After two or three hours walking by cutting under growths Dr. Ta understood they could reach only the back portion of the village, which is about one km of walk. He was going to throw his binocular in a pond surrounded by a grassland, but stopped. His eyes brightened. They saw a nearly bronze-era temple just at the corner of the pond. The linings over granite stone were made by bronze, even the glittering ornamental decorations are made by bronze and copper. Dr. Ta understood the pricelessness of this discovery. Two village girls were coming out after offering in the temple. Dr. Ta runs literally ran towards the temple, Dr. Goswami and guards behind him. Suddenly Dr. Goswami fell in ground by hitting his leg with a rock. Others didn't wait for him. When Dr. Goswami was trying to find his specs, he found a painter's scrapbook and a pencil. The scrapbook was named handwritten it belongs to 'The Poet'. He forgot everything. His four years try to find the 'X' factor of the mass uprising against government succeed. He smiled and get up to call Dr. Ta, but saw two cold, very cold eyes are looking at his eyes. He mesmerized.
Dr. Ta technically tested the temple. No cementing used. Only stones curved like in such a way that one perfectly fit to another and bearing weight perfectly. He entered. One of the guards torched a flame. They saw the dome of the temple is put on a quadrangle linted but the quadrangle is not equilateral. At floor, quadrangle put footing upon an octa lateral footing but this is also not straight, there are curves in both lintel and footings. They saw a black stone curved leopard and a two-handed deity sculptured on a flat stone coloured yellowish. The woman deity is wearing nothing, her hands are also without any weapon. Few flowers are lying offered possibly the ladies just out. Dr. Ta thought which modern idol deity is symbolized from this as he neither saw leopard as the companion of any idol or without any weapon. Therefore, he couldn't understand whether the offerors fear the idol or not. As the present idea of science is that the anthropological man or modern primitives derive their idea of deity from which they fear or attack and the companion animal is their totem. Then what the idol is symbolizing? Defending, attacking the clan or something else he doesn't know. He must back to the University but this blunt headed government person is real hindrance. He took some important notes and sketches and came out with the guards, but they couldn't find Dr. Goswami. When they returned to the village, the lady chief and the crowd was waiting anxiously. The lady said, I told you that the surrounding forest is not al all very safe and provided you guards. Now where is your friend? Dr. Ta raised a broken spectacles with blood stains still wet. Lady chief said, then he did something which is not ethical.
