I wake up and turn to the side expecting to see george. Instead i see patches sleeping on my lovers side of the bed.
I then check my phone expecting a text from George. No text...
But there is a call from "AdventHealth? Why would they be calling..?" I whisper not wanting to wake up fundy.
I call them back expecting it to be something about my mom as she had been pretty sick recently
"Hello this is AdventHealth hospital my namr is Leslie how can i help you!" A lovely lady says through the phone.
"Um hi my name is Clay Amana I got a call last night from here, just calling back to ask what its about!"
"Oh! Clay Amana of course let me check in my computer... Oh dear."
"What's wrong?" I say with a shiver down my spine
"You need to get here fast, your boyfriend George Davidson got into a car crash yesterday and is in critical condition."

My heart stopped.

George got into a car crash?
I shouldnt of ignored that call yesterday.
Ive got to get going.

"I-I'll be there soon."

I quickly rush into the hospital panting with tears pricking my eyes.
I run to the front desk and get a breather.
"please whats the room number for George Davidson ive got to see him now, please" i say now having tears pour down my face
"Of course honey, take a deep breath first okay.." I take a deep breath and my tears slow down.
"George Davidson you said?" I nod
"He is in room 404" I chuckle smiling slightly
his number

"CODE BLUE ROOM 404 PATIENT IS HAVING A SEIZURE, I REPEAT CODE BLUE GET EXTRA DOCTORS AND BRING A DEFIBRILLATOR"
My eyes go wide and i start running towards his room
"SIR PLEASE STAY IN THE WAITING ROOM DO NOT GO THERE" I shove past all the doctors and enter his room.
The machine showing a flat line. I feel my whole body shut
"GEORGE WAKE UP I NEED YOU" i shout while running to his bed side

Doctors push me out of the room and start charging up the defibrillator.
"CLEAR" one shock and george shakes. "AGAIN" once again they charge the machine and shock him.
This time his heart starts picking up again.
"We did it. Good job team." I sob of happiness that the love of my life had been saved.

A few hours later george wakes up seeing a cast on his arm and blood all over him.
He then sees him. His love. His dream.
He smiles as he sees dream sleeping peacefully on the chair beside him with his head on the bed. I lean down to kiss him but then am met with a sharp pain in my back.
"FUCK" i shout while squeezing my eyes shut from pain. I put my hand over my mouth while biting my fingers.
Dream slowly wakes up and smiles widely
"MY LOVE!" He jumps and hugs me but i wince from being sore and in pain "hurts" i whisper "sorry" he says still smiling
He then kisses me and oh how i missed this.

We then fall asleep together peacefully.
Little did we know it wouldn't be peaceful for long..
