Shes still laughing now, while the rest of us just stare at her blankly. When she finally stops, she turns to me and gives me what looks like a sweet smile, but her teeth baring like she's getting ready to eat me. I can see clearly on everyone's faces that this is not going to be good.
'Hi, I'm Connie Thompson,' she says cheerily. She offers me her hand and I reluctantly take it.
'Hey, I'm Jasmine Clarke,' I say as brightly as I could. She squeezes my hand and shakes it hard while I try to smile through the pain.
'I'm Luke's girlfriend,' she puts in like it's what she's meant to do. I'm just staring at her thinking, huh?! Wait, why do I care? Before I could say anything, Luke shouts out no like he'll die for it to be said to me. Jessie steps forward and gives a nervous chuckle. 'Well, we better get going, right guys?'
We all nod without hesitating. Jessie quickly ushers us out and keeps taking backward glances at Connie. 'Bye Cree- I mean...Connie.'
'Lukie Pookie, you will call me won't you?' Connie says. Luke gives a nervous laugh at her, and the second we turn our heads, he mouths the word 'no' at me.

As soon as we're out of earshot from Connie, Luke literally explodes. 'What is she doing back at New York? I thought she was gone for good!'
'Beats me,' Jessie says. 'Lets hope things don't get too out of hand with her. Like coming to our apartment.'
'You guys invite this girl to your apartment?' I say stunned.
'No way!' Emma says. 'She thinks she can come in uninvited. Seriously, Tony should know better. He knows that we don't like her, he should stop sending her up!'
'At least we won't be seeing her again,' Zuri says.
'Yeah, WE won't. Luke and Jaz might even be seeing her in school tomorrow,' Ravi puts in.
'I just do NOT want to see her again. Hopefully, she'll be just going to another school,' Luke says.
'I highly doubt that,' Jessie says. 'You know she'll do anything to be around you.'
'Can someone please just tell me what is going on and who this weirdo girl is?' I say.
'Connie has been obsessed with Luke for ages now. We all hate her, especially Luke himself. She's got a crazy crush on him. She keeps saying she's over Luke, but it's obvious she isn't. It's like she's everywhere,' Jessie explains walking into the apartment and greeting Tony.

'That must be...yeah you got the name right- Creepy!' I say.
'The last thing I want is to see her again,' Luke says as we all head up the elevator. 'She just seems to pop out of nowhere.'

The elevator door dings and there she was.

She laughs sinisterly while staring at us in the middle of the living room.
'Hey Lukie Pooooooookie,' she whispers but we all hear it. Loud and clear. 'I completely forgot to ask for your mobile number, so I just HAD to come here and ask you for it. Don't wanna have a long distance relationship now, do we? And we cannot do that without texting and calling each other EVERY DAY AND NIGHT.'
'If I was dating you, which I'm NOT, I'd be much happier with a long distance relationship,' Luke fights back using Jessie, again, as his shield.
'No need to be cruel, Lukie. But I understand. Couples do fight every now and then,' Connie says in a devil like tone.
'For the last time, we are NOT dating, I am NOT your boyfriend and we are NOT a couple. Get away from me and stop being so creepy. It's just wrong!' Luke shouts and I can't help smiling. Not because of what he just said, but because I'm finding this quite funny.
I'm the first to speak, by the looks of Connie's face, I've interrupted her thoughts being said aloud, 'Well...isn't this cute?' I butt in and try to hold my laugh when I see Luke's face at me.
'It isn't, isn't it?' Connie says, literally pushing Jessie away making her fall onto the couch, and she swings her arm around Luke's neck. Luke looks like he's just stepped his favourite expensive sneakers on beetle dung. And has now smelled the stench of it.
'Ok, ok, this is all besides the point,' Jessie exclaims, climbing back onto her feet, she turns to Connie, 'how did you even get in here?'
'Like a normal person, I went up the stairs,' she says still hugging Luke who's trying to break free.
'You mean, a normal person should have just used the elevator,' Jessie points out.
'Oh, so you want me to use the elevator because that's what makes you feel other people are being normal?' Connie asks.
'Yes, I mean no, I mean...don't try to confuse me lady!'
Connie just shrugs and carries on beaming, baring her teeth whilst Luke just manages to slip out from her tight grasp.
'Can you leave now? Luke demands, but his voice doesn't sound threatening enough.
'Why ever should I leave my dear boyfriend, Lukie Pookie?' Connie asks a sweetly as she could.
'Don't call me that. We were never a couple. I don't even like you, I like...' Luke's voice trails off. Connie's face suddenly turns like the most infuriated out of all of us. It's like smoke is coming out of her ears, her face as red as a tomato.
'I like...' Luke whispers as we stare at him expectantly.
