The Same Day / Thursday Afternoon

"Mami..." Nasir sighed as he pushed himself from leaning on the cart to grab a plant on a high shelf for Lyrica. "Fuck you need 20 plants for?"

The two were currently in Target searching for décor. So far Lyrica spent over $20,000 on appliances, furniture, and other household essentials. She didn't plan on moving anytime soon so decided she get high end shit.

Spoiling herself in the process, she found the most gorgeous California King sized bed and even though it was over $5,000, she couldn't resist it. Then again it was her money she was spending anyways.

"You don't like them?" She pouted, grabbing the large plant from Nasir and putting it in the second cart, since the first one was full with other plants, bedding, pillows and a few rugs.

"I didn't say that, but this is a lot baby. What's the need?" He asked, leaning on the cart again.

"They're cute, they'll make the house look more cozy and green." She explained and he just stared at her before shaking his head, not understanding the need for a 'green' house.

"Ight Lyri." He chuckled and pushed the cart into the next isle that had pots and pans. "What the fuck! You said we was done..." He complained making her smack her teeth while holding up a matte black bowl.

"Black or white? Ooo— or both?" She asked excitedly, spotting white bowls and plates.

"H-O-M-EEE!" He spelled it out and Lyrica just rolled her eyes.

"I'll do both.." She mumbled, grabbing the sets.

Nasir huffed and just just watched her pick out various items for the kitchen, some being very unnecessary. He looked at the cart overfilling and just knew they'd need a third one.

Lyrica looked to her left after hearing a familiar voice. Her heart dropped as she saw Cameron with some other girl she's never seen before. She accidentally locked eyes with him and soon looked away, continuing to shop.

Not a minute later, she felt her phone buzz in the crossbody purse.
