"Vinny, put down the knife," I screamed at my five-year-old son who was running with the little pig sticker his father had given him. "Ha, got you! You little gremlin," Billy said snatching up Vinny making him giggle and his blonde curls bounce back and forth on his head. "Now you know you aren't supposed to run with that," Eddie said grabbing the knife away from Vinny. "I know daddy," He said sheepishly before he buried his face in Billy's neck. I rolled my eyes "You two should have never given that to him in the first place, my god," I groaned. "Think she might be right, little man," Billy said tickling Vinny, causing him to laugh. Eddie handed it to me and I whispered into his ear "I am just going to hide it from him until his 15th birthday," I winked kissing his cheek before sliding the knife into a kitchen drawer. Billy put Vinny down "Hey where is my sugar," he said playing offended as he walked up to me. I laughed "Oh my poor baby, come here," I said kissing him on the cheek. "That's what I thought," Billy winked at me.
"Hey that's my mommy," Vinny whined pushing his dad off me. I laughed and picked him up "Daddy's need love to Vinny," I said kissing him. Vinny rolled his eyes at me making all of us laugh. "Knock, Knock," I heard Steve say as he entered the house. "Uncle Steve, Uncle Steve," Vinny screamed and jumped out of my arms to run to his uncle. Steve bent down and opened his arms for his nephew. "Happy birthday buddy," He screamed as he hugged Vinny swinging him around in a circle. "Happy birthday, little nugget," Robin said from behind Steve. "Auntie Robin," Vinny said squirming out of Steve's arms to get to her. "What's up squirt," She laughed as she held Vinny. "Did you bring presents," Vinny questioned her. "Of course, what kind of aunt would I be if I came without presents for my nephew," she said playing shocked. Vinny squealed as she held up the bag to show him.
"Uncle Dusty and Uncle Steve got you something even cooler than Aunt Robin," Steve said winking at Vinny. "Where is it," He squealed. I snickered as Dustin came in with a big ass box wrapped in the loudest wrapping paper I had ever seen. "I thought we told them nothing outrageous," Billy whispered to me. "It's Dustin and Steve, they do what they want," I said to him. He rolled his eyes and wrapped his arms around me and sighed. Vinny had run over to inspect the giant gift Dustin brought in giving Steve a chance to come over to say hello to me. "Hello mama bear," He smiled pulling me in for a hug and kissing my cheek. "Where is Nance," I asked Him. "She isn't feeling too well, morning sickness is kicking her ass," He said. "But guess you would understand that more than anyone huh," He winked putting his hand on my stomach. "How are my nieces doing," He smiled rubbing my stomach. "You're so weird Harrington," Eddie said slapping his hand off my stomach. I laughed, "We are all doing well, thanks Steve," I smiled. "Let's just focus on Vinny's birthday party okay, he is already jealous of his sisters," I sighed. "He will get over it, it'll just take time," Billy said kissing me and walking off to keep Vinny from tearing into the present before it was time.
The party was coming to an end and I was with Billy and Eddie watching our son open his gifts with the help of his favorite uncles and aunt. I never thought I did be here in my own home with the two men I loved the most, pregnant with twins, and celebrating my son with those who love us so much. I never thought I could ever be this happy.
The party began to die down and everyone left, we were sitting on the couch as Vinny played with his new toys. I put my hands on Billy and Eddie's thigh and squeezed "I love you two so much," I said. "I love you too," they said in unison. "I love you too mommy," Vinny scream and jumped into my lap. I gave him a big kiss as he hugged me tightly. "Mommy loves you so much baby boy," I said looking between Eddie and Billy. They placed their hands on Vinny's head. "I love daddies too," Vinny said pulling away from me and reaching for his fathers. My heart was so full. Vinny looked at me and then to my belly, "I guess I love my sisters too, mommy, I am going to be the best big brother ever," he said in the most confident voice ever. I started to tear up, "of course you are baby, of course, you are," I smiled kissing my son's cheek.
