Jughead and Archie drive back to his house. His dad wasn't home which was good or he'd be asking a million questions. Jughead sat on the end of the bed,Archie behind him cleaning the back off his head.
"This isn't necessary" Jughead says
"Yes it is,if you get worse you'll go to hospital"
Jughead groans and feels Archie stop.
"Hold my hand" Archie says putting his hand next to him
"Why?"
"Because it's going to hurt,
unless you want to bite down on a belt or something"
"Jesus" he says under his breathe. He stands up and starts undoing his belt. Archie watched carefully,blushing at the sight but tried hide it.
He sat back down and placed ther belt in between his teeth.
Archie put the needle through making him wince.
After a few minutes Archie was just about finished and tightened the thread
"Fuck" he cursed,removing the belt
"Sorry,Should've warned you"
Jughead turns around and lays on the bed,sighing.
"Thanks,not exactly how I thought we'd meet again"
Archie chuckles and puts the box with first aid away. He lays down next to Jughead, looking at him,focusing on his eyes.
"How's life then?"
"Shit" he sighs
"Why? Is it you're parents"
"Not exactly,my mum isn't around anymore. She's moved to Toledo with jb so now it's just me and my shitty dad"
"Still drinking?"
"Mhm,I don't care anymore tho. I'm not responsible of him, he had his chance and blew it"
"Good for you"
Jughead sighs and sits up
"You got anything entertaining?"
Archie goes over to his tv and picks up the two controllers
"I got games?"
"Yeah that'll do"
Archie passes him a control before turning the tv on.
They sat and played cod for a while but Archie wasn't exactly in his best mood with Jughead here since it just made him more nervous. Archie didn't want to admit it but had come to the terms that he liked Jughead,he just didn't know if he liked him back.
Archie took his eyes off the screen and looked at Jughead who was still playing.
"Oi eyes on the screen,we're gonna lose" Jughead says. Archie looks at the controller before throwing it behind him on the bed.
"I don't wanna play anymore" he sighs.standing up. Jughead stops the game and looks at him
"Why?"
"I just don't,I'm going downstairs" he says
Archie left sending Jughead into a spiral of thoughts.
What if he made him sad? Or Archie didn't want him here anymore. Maybe he shouldn't have come here.
He gets his beanie and puts it back on his head before going downstairs to the front door and opening it.
"Wait where are you going?" Archie rushed
"Well- I didn't think you wanted me here"
"No,why would you think that?" He asked sniffling
"Have you been crying?"
"No it's- just nothing"
Jughead goes back inside and closes the door
"Why are you crying?" He asks. Archie just stares at Him, his lips,his eyes,his hair. Just everything about him was perfect. Archie held his face and kissed him,Jughead didn't exactly kiss back,but he was the one to break the kiss. He stepped back,amazed that Archie could ever kiss him.
"I-I'm sorry jug.." he hung his head low
"Don't be sorry" he says moving closer to him. He held underneath his chin and made him look up at him.
"How long have you liked me?" He asks
"Uh...a-about four months...?"
"Really? And you didn't tell me" Jughead looked down at his lips making Archie blush
"Well we didn't talk that much and I thought you hated me enough"
"Hm.."
Jughead leaned down,lifting Archie's head up some more before kissing him. Archie was completely lost in the moment,he just did whatever Jughead did. He was blushing so heavily it may as well stayed permanent. Jughead slowly pulled away,looking at his now bright red lips and his flushed face.
"You look like a mess" he chuckles
"S-Sorry.."
"Who knew Archie Andrews would be such a mess for me? I feel honoured"
The door they were standing next to then swung open.
"Archie I'm h- oh hello Jughead" Fred greets
"Hey mr.A"
"Do you want to stay for tea?"
"Eh,I'm alright. I'll see you at school arch" he says kissing him on the cheek before leaving. Archie stood there completely flustered
"What happened?"
"Uh..me and Jug are sorta a thing...And I will need time to recover"
Fred just chuckles and takes out a pizza box from the freezer.
Since it was the weekend,he had a few days to see Jughead but Jughead never contacted him. Not a call or text and he wasn't sure if he should be worried for him,or upset that they had a moment and it didn't mean anything. When he went to school on Monday Jughead wasn't there,nor on Tuesday or Wednesday. But on Thursday he found him at lunch with his friends. He sat down with them and looked at Jughead
"Jughead where have you been, I've been looking everywhere"
He sighs and stands up
"I need to talk in private.." he says. Jughead takes his hand and drags him out of the cafeteria into the music room.
"How come you haven't called?"
"Because..my dad went to jail.."
"Oh god..I'm sorry jug"
"It's not that...it's that..I have to move to Ohio"
"What?"
"I'm leaving tomorrow"
"Why Tomorrow? Can't you push it further?"
"No,because then my mums moving as well so I have to be there before she leaves"
"Well..why can't you stay with us?" He asks as tears prick his eyes
"Because I can't Arch"
"Jug-"
"Archie. It was different when I was a kid,my dad was actually available to look after me,now he's not"
Tears gathered in Archie's eyes and looked away from him
"I'm sorry.." Jughead said before hugging him.
"Y-You'll be back right? You won't forget about me?"
"How could I forget about you? We've been friends since babies idiot"
Archie wiped away his tears and Jughead cupped his face
"It'll be okay...next year we can meet at pops,a year tomorrow. So may 5th,okay?"
Archie nodded before they kissed.
The next day,Jughead was ready to take off. All of his friends were there including Cheryl and Toni,standing outside of Archie's house.
"We're gonna miss you" Betty says before hugging him
"Oh please,I'm sure pops will have a lot more burgers to sell now"
They all laughed. Jughead turned to Archie who instantly kissed him,surprising everyone
"Holy shit..didn't expect that" Kevin says. Jughead hugs him tightly before kissing his head
"I love you okay? Don't be an idiot while I'm gone"
He looks at the others
"And you promise you'll be here next year?" Veronica asks
"I promise,if not you can..
I don't know find a way to smack me"he chuckles. He looks at his phone that buzzed
Jb: mums asking if you're on your way?
"I better go before I get killed"
"I think I see tears" Cheryl says to Toni
"Oh shut it,like I'm gonna miss any of you"
He sat on his bike and put his helmet before saying goodbye and setting off.
Everyone looked at Archie
"Okay so since when were You two GAY?!" Kevin exclaims
"Long story.."
