Robin pov

"Hey steve im gonna go check up on Nancy though." he nodded and walked away. i didn't know where to go first so i tried the bathroom. i opened the door and heard silent crying. "Nancy?" "Go away.." "Nance its me, open the door." after a couple minutes she opened the stall door. She looked like shed been crying for hours. fuck. i just remembered i have absolutely no idea how to comfort anybody. "Are..you ok?" i said while getting closer. "Do i look ok!? my boyfriend thinks im cheating on him with some dimwit!" she snapped. "oh. sorry, want a hug?" she nodded her head so i got closer and hugged her. i think she started crying again because i felt my shoulder getting wet. i didn't know what to do so i just patted her back. "There there, its...ok?" she stopped crying and started laughing. "Why are you laughing?? aren't you sad?" i asked confused. "i am sad its just, you suck at comforting people." she said while laughing. "Oh wow i try to help you and this is what i get?" i playfully roll my eyes. "Ok ok im sorry, thanks for making me feel a little better." she smiled and i blushed a little but smiled back. "Yea no problem, do you want me to stay with you today?" i offered. "Well yes but we don't have all of the same classes." she replied. "don't worry about that, if it means skipping almost all my classes for you then its worth it, now come on." i dragged her out the stall and she started washing her face

We walked out the bathroom and i looked around to check if Jonathan was near, luckily he wasn't. "Are you gonna go to your class alone or do you want to skip with me?" "I wanna skip all my classes until i have one with you." she declared. her wanting to stay with me all day made my heart flutter.

LUNCHTIME BC I SAID SO

me and Nancy walked to the lunch table and steve ran up to me and hugged me. "Calm down steve i have food in my hand!" i said trying to hug him back. he finally pulled away and acted like he was wiping away tears. "Me and Eddie was so bored..where did you guys go!?" he practically yelled. "Keep your voice down, we only skipped most classes." Nancy responded, grabbing my hand and bringing me to the lunch table. steve looks at me confused and i look at him and shrug my shoulders. When we sat down i noticed Jonathan and argyle was at another table and Jonathan was talking to some chick. he's such a asshole. he didn't even break up with Nancy yet and he's talking to other girls. i think Nancy saw Jonathan too because she held my hand under the table so i interlocked our fingers to make her feel better. "Robin, do you wanna hang out later?" she asked. "Yea but i don't want you to get in trouble because Steve's driving me-" she interrupted me before i started rambling. "then ill drive you." "Oh ok, thanks nance"

After school
i went to steve before Nancy picked me up and i started pacing back and fourth. "What the hell are you doing?" he asked while eating a leftover sandwich. "Im gonna do it. im gonna ask her out, her relationship with Jonathan is crumbling anyways. steve looked up from his sand which and started grinning when he saw Nancy coming towards us. "Better go get your girlfriend then!" he pushed me towards Nancy and i rolled my eyes and walked towards her.
