" Seojun what are you doing we are going to be late" Homin shouted at the latter who was still in the bathroom getting ready. He was supposed to go to the clinic today. He finally got out of the bathroom, changed his clothes and headed downstairs to have breakfast before leaving for the hospital. Homin drove them there it was a 20 minute drive from seojun's house. They reached the hospital. Homin packed the car and they went inside.
Homin took seojun to his doctor Mr seoham. They knew where his office was. Homin knocked on the door and received a “come in" from inside. He then opened the door for seojun to enter which he then followed.
They found that doctor Seoham wasn't alone. There was a young man in the room who smiled at them as they got in. Homin gestured Seojun to sit in an empty chair that was beside the young man man.
"Seojun noticed that the young man also seemed to be pregnant.
" Hi seojun, how are you doing lately " the doctor asked seojun while bowing to homin to greet him.
"Just fine " seojun simply said. The doctor noticed that Seojun kept eyeing the young man Infront of him so he took the Chance to introduce him.
" Oh, this is my boyfriend Jaechan" he said pointing to the said young man. The awkwardness in seojun seemed to fade away as he shook hands with Jaechan.
"Jaechan then excused himself to let the doctor do his work. He gave seoham a kiss on the cheek before he Left which made seoham a little embarrassed.
" He's so cute" seojun said to seoham who still has his ears Pink
" Is he expecting too" seojun couldn't help but be curious.
" Yeah, it's been 3 months." Seoham said with a proud look on his face.
" That aside, how are you feeling lately any changes"
" Nothing much has changed it's just that walking is becoming more tiresome."
" That's normal at this stage. You are now 4 months right."
" Yeah " he said rubbing his growing bely
" Do you want to see the baby" seoham asked noting something down. Seojun nodded.
Seoham told seojun to lie on the bed that was beside the desk. He then put on his gloves and took out a certain gel.
" It's going to be cold" he warned him before applying it round the small bump.
He then took the scanner and moved it in small circles where he just applied the gel. He then came to a stop.
" There I can feel the heart beat"seojun could seeing through the screen how Small his baby was. He couldn't help but tear up at the sight of it. Homin was there to comfort him. The doctor then wiped the gel off and seojun climbed down the bed. He then sat back down.
" When can I find out about the gender" seojun asked.
" On your next check up" seojun nodded. If only jiwoo was here with me seojun thought but he shrugged it off . He then bid farewell and left the doctor's office. As they reached the hospital's exit , seojun had his phone ring so he halted and took out his phone from his bag. When he saw the caller he froze on the spot. Homin almost thought he was about to pass out. He ignored the call and put it back in his bag and told homin to hurry up and take him home.
Seojun's pov
When we reached home i went straight to my room and shut the door. I didn't want homin to see me crying because I knew he might ask me the reason. I plopped onto my bed and just let the tears flow. I really wanted to pick that call but I had to stop myself. It really hurt. All these time I've been trying to forget about jiwoo but when I saw that call I knew I couldn't. Through the whole drive he's been calling and I have been ignoring so I just decided to switch off my phone. I could see homin looking at me through the rear view mirror so i tried to hide my emotions which I'm pretty sure he read through.
The next thing I knew, i had already fallen a sleep and homin was waking me up.
"Hyung, wake up it's time to eat." I just nodded and told him to give me some time i will be down soon.
I went to the bathroom to wash my face a put on a smile before heading down
" Hyung I'm going out a bit I'll be back" homin said to which Seojun just nodded. He finished his meal went back to his room. He then took out his phone to turn it on. Missed calls and messages flooded his screen and they were all from jiwoo. He sighed and put his phone back on the table . He stared at the Seeling so many thoughts running through his head. He knows once he picks the latter's call he'll be swept away.
Homin went to the office to meet with pilhyun because he said he had something to tell him.
"How is seojun doing," that's the first question pilhyun asked.
"He's...ok, but not so okay."
"What does that mean?" the latter was confused by the answer.
"I've noticed that he's been crying very often lately. And he keeps ignoring calls. Do you think it could be..."
"Jiwoo? It obviously is. He met me once asking me about seojun." Pilhyun said rolling his eyes.
" He came to you?" Homin was shocked because jiwoo never talks to pilhyun.
"Yeah some time back at xx cafe. I didn't tell him anything though I told him to ask seojun himself " just talking about jiwoo just made his blood boil
"Wait " he seemed to remember something "we actually met on the same day you took seojun shopping."
" Do you think maybe he saw us, because the store is just near the cafe" homin couldn't help but question.
"Then that must be why he keeps calling seojun. He found out"
Homin went back to the house after his conversation with pilhyun. He entered the house and as always seojun was in his room. He decided to go check up on him before going to his own room. He found seojun sleeping without covering himself up so homin went to cover him up. While covering him up he touched the latter's neck and it was freaking hot. He then felt it again with the back of his hand just to make sure. He was burning up. He shook seojun to wake him up but there was no response. What was he going to do, he needs to take him to hospital but how can he carry him alone. He then decided to call pilhyun. Pilhyun came not long after the call he helped carry seojun to the car and they drove to the hospital.
"On arriving at the hospital seojun was wheeled to the emergency room and homin and pilhyun were left outside the room. The doctor finally opened after some time. Homin and pilhyun run towards the doctor that they were now familiar with. It was doctor Seoham.
" What happened to him," pilhyun asked the doctor.
"He seems to be stressed. That's what causing the fever. I'll advise you to find out what's stressing him it could be bad for him and the baby."
Homin and pilhyun sighed after the doctor left. They already knew what's stressing him. So they both came to a conclusion that the only solution is bringing seojun and jiwoo back together even if they hated it. It was for seojun and then baby's health.
