Vegas' POV

"I still don't get why we were attacked , the goods were already on the way. We already gave them the payment" Kinn said angrily.
I'm on a video call with Kinn, Kim and Porsche in my office

"I'm sure they wanted to ambush us" Porsche stated
"They had a chance to ambush the goods when we being attacked but they didn't, the goods arrived safely meaning the attack was on us" Kim replied
"But there haven't been any attack from them again....not even in my territories" Porsche said

"I don't care about their fucking reason, they have to pay with their lives.....have you found any clue yet" I asked

"Well no....my men went to search the warehouse but it was cleaned out. We lost three of our men , they cleaned everything including our dead men" kinn said
"I'm looking for information on Viper, I'll tell you when I'm clear" Kim assured

The door to my office opened and Pete entered
"Vegas it's time" he is dressed in a blue and white shirt with few buttons undone with straps on the shoulder and half tucked into a black pant ...
"Time for ...?" Forging ignorance
"I reminded you yesterday that Dr. Top wants to take a scan of your shoulder to make sure there is no future problem" he sighted

"But Pete I said I'm good...I can use my hand without restrain and move my shoulder without pains...I'm good"
I said demonstrating
"Erm....when did you become a doctor" he rolled his eyes and the guys laughed

"OK fine...lemme finish the meeting" I said
"Five minutes" he said and turned back
"Ten" I said back
"Three " he left and closed the door with a bang

"You guys are quarrelling like old couple" Kim snort
"You guys should give Kim a boyfriend... He is too nosy" I said annoyed
"My brother broke up with him because of his ability of not minding his own business... I heard he was investigating me...hahaha" Porsche teased him

"I told you I'm fine" I mocked Pete , we are on our way back from the hospital and my scan came out good...no broken bones, no internal wounds I'm good
"Well , I'm assured now" he glanced at me and I smirked

"I'm hungry, lets go to the curry place for food. What will you eat?" He asked me
"Erm..." I murmured
"What?" He raised his eyebrows in question
"Why don't we go for the thing that couples do" I whispered
"What thing" he questioned
"Well you know"
"No I don't . what are you talking about Vegas"

"A date. We've never been to a date" I said .

Since we've been together the situation haven't allowed us to have fun like normal couples... Well close to normally couples... From the hospital, to Pete going to the main family, to me being shot....it's a mess

"Oh that....OK" he continued " where do you have in mind"
I couldn't answer because I haven't taken anyone on a date before how am I suppose to know a dating place
"Well I'm sure google will tell us" I took my phone out
"Vegas don't tell me you've never been on a date" he said shocked

"Weeell....what about you"
"This is not about me and I have only dated one girl when I was in high school in my village.... but you've..... wait....Vegas how many guys have you been with" he said in a serious tone and parked the car by the road side

Oh my goodness why did I even bring going on a date...see where we've landed..

"Around ten?" He questioned turning to look at me. I didn't answer
"Twenty?" He pressed on...
" oh noo Vegas don't tell me more than thirty " his eyes widen in disbelief
"Who counts...but I'm sure my body count is not more than your former boss" trying my best to get out of this situation

"Well I do..lemme see" he dramatically counted " I have been with one person ...and what dose kinn have to do with this.... is it because you fucked all his ex" He said with a scoff
