My Casanova

I was at my father's office when Alex called, informing me of a charity ball in three hours

"Wear a dress,blue not something long and dramatic like the ladies in the Royal court he said before ending the call,he didn't even allow me to speak

To think I resurrected the asshole  back from the dead just to bark orders at me

I wrapped up my work for the day and rushed home to prepare,I was beyond angry

ditching him and having a nice time on Netflix for the night sounds better but I'll have mercy on him because it's work related

Getting home, I took a quick shower and rested for a while before dressing up

When he sent his bodyguard to come get me,I was sure I was going to burst with anger,he couldn't even come get me by himself

Wasn't as if I was looking for anything romantic but he should have come get me

He was already in the car when we got outside,he looked angry yet again

Does he get angry whenever ever I look good,,I know my dress is a little bit extra but he wanted this and he got me angry

He couldn't even compliment me,we drove in silence to the event

The event was held in a classic hotel and thankful no media

The hall was beautiful filled with extremely beautiful women

"Oh Alexander,cooed a pretty woman walking up to us,she would be in her early thirties,she was classic and beautiful

Vera.....my wife,alex introduced

"Alex,I want you to meet someone,his a big shot in the Italian market she said taking his arm ignoring me

"You go along,I'll get myself something to drink,I said trying to excuse myself from the drama

He said referring to his bodyguard

I walked away before he could even say anymore nonsense,why would his bodyguard be getting me a drink,he can go choke on that old hag

I could feel his eyes on me while I was at the bar,the vera was laughing at nothing he said because I certainly knew Alex  doesn't have any sense of humor

To think he brought me here to leave me all by myself immediately we arrived

"Yeah right,pretty ladies have to be lying down when alone,I said rolling my eyes

I got talking with Colin all the while feeling my husband's eyes on me,I knew he'll be furious about this but who cares
Colin was fun to talk to and he was cute too

"Excuse me,,and who are you,my dearest husband asked on joining I and Colin

"Ooh dearest,meet colin,he has been keeping me company,since you deemed it fit to abandon me at an event where I know nobody

Colin excused himself when he saw how Alex was looking at him like a lamb he was about to hunt

"Victoria it's business and you walked out on me,I didn't want to cause a scene,let's just dance please

He took me to the dance floor and I felt all my anger disappear at his touch

After dancing a while,he took me around and introduced me to his business associates

It was getting late and I was tired

"You look tired,there's this man over at the bar I want to talk to,then we'll leave
Do you want to come alone....

"No,I'll pass....just be fast

He pecked me on my forehead before walking away...what was that for

"Victoria right....I wonder what you did to get Alex to marry you,there's nothing special about you,you know.....
Vera said coming to sit at our table

"Yes.. because I have known Alex for long,in bed and outside
There's nothing a plastic doll like you can offer him, he'll break you
He prefers experienced women,not a kid

"There's no need to get angry,I just wanted you to know,I would have stayed and chatted more but your husband is coming bye.....
