Story

[SCREEN TITLE: 3482 AS]

[scene begins with a dragon walking across the desert tiredly. The dragon looks onto the sky as the sun continues beating upon her. She looks forward and only sees an endless desert. She slowly continues walking forward until she eventually collapses onto the ground in exhaustion. She crawls toward a nearby rock and hide behind it to avoid the sunlight]

TERRA: [holding the necklace with a purple crystal for a pendant] Sage... if you're out there... [breathe slowly] please answer.

[there was no answer. Terra continues laying on the sand, awaiting for a possible answer from Sage. She slowly stood back up before collapsing onto the sand again. Terra gives up and lay on the sand, awaiting her fate]

TERRA: Sage... please.

[there was still no answer. Terra falls unconscious, laying on the sand as wind begins to pick up. Moments later, a shadow of a dragon approaches her and take a closer look]

[scene cuts to Terra laying on a pile of leaves, when she suddenly opens her eyes. She slowly sits up and rub her eyes, looking around an unfamiliar place]

TERRA: [to herself] What, where am I?

SAGE: [sitting on a staircase in the distance] So you're finally awake. [drinking a cup of tea] Who are you?

TERRA: [surprised and almost speechless] Sage? Three moons... [bow at Sage]

SAGE: This is embarrassing, stand up.

TERRA: [looking around the place, revealing to be a garden in the middle of an oasis] I-I know this place. Mallowine, it's the afterlife in the legend... [realized] I'm... dead.

SAGE: You're right, unfortunately. I found you laying in the middle of the desert, and I couldn't save you. I was too late.

TERRA: [sighs] Oh...

SAGE: [green auras begin to surround her talons as she hesitates] I think I still have a bit of energy left in me. I can give them to you, and you can return to the living world with a new power, but you'll have to use it wisely and prevent corruption from the darkness. You'll get a second chance in life. Are you up for that?

TERRA: And what about you?

SAGE: Without my power, I'll disappear. From both the living and Mallowine... it'll be like I never exist in the beginning. Do you want to take the offer?

TERRA: I can't do that, not if you'll be gone from existence forever.

SAGE: Don't let my life influence your decision. I'm the reason you died in the first place.

[Terra hesitates before finally agreeing. She approaches Sage slowly, who raises her talon and grabs Terra's talon. Terra eventually wakes up from the same location she died at, and she stands up and look around]

[Terra feels energy surging throughout her body, and she looks at her talons as green auras begin surrounding it. She suddenly notices a small sapling on the sand]

TERRA: What the hell is going on?

[SCREEN TITLE: DUNE SANCTUARY]

[SCREEN TITLE: 4979 AS]

[scene cuts to Antrala from a long time ago, before dragons began to inhabit the area. Thyme is narrating in the background]

THYME: [narrating] A long time ago, before the War of SandWing Succession, our dragons were on the verge of dying.
