I woke up around 12 in the afternoon and had the worst headache ever and for a moment I forgot about the fight and was expecting Joseph to be in the chair next to me but when I looked over there, memories of last night came flooding back. Just then the doctor walked in. "good morning y/n, I heard you had a rough night. The nurses around here are really nosy" the doctor said as she leaned in the doorway. "yeah" I said with a gravely voice from crying last night. "I just came to tell you that you can leave later today. We will give you some bandages and I will give you some pain meds." she said. "The nurse will be here with the paperwork soon" she said as she walked out.

Time skip 

I just got out of the hospital and I am walking to the hotel to grab my things. I don't know how I'm going to get home but I will find a way. There is no way in hell that I will be staying here for 5 more days. It is sprinkling out and I don't have an umbrella. Just my luck. Thats when I heard someone calling my name. I turn around and to my surprise I see Joseph. It is raining harder now. I walk around the block, trying to avoid him as much as possible but it didn't work. He ran to me. "y/n. I broke up with Riley and turned her into the police." he said as he ran after me. "Leave me alone Joseph. I am leaving as soon as I get everything packed." I said as I kept walking. "Y/n" he said as he grabbed my wrist. he is surprisingly fast. "LET ME GO!" I said trying to get away but there was no use. "Y/n. You asked me if I meant everything I said and I sat and thought about it." he said as he made me look him in the eye. 

"Ok and?" I asked honestly curious about what he had to say.  "I meant everything I said. I care about you y/n. Me and Riley don't work she is possessive and abusive and I honestly hate her. But you? I care about you more than I ever cared about anyone else. I care about you more than I care about myself. So please stay y/n I love you and I know this is probably way too soon but I am serious." He said and at that moment I realized I was wrong. Joseph is innocent and Riley is the one to blame. "Joseph I-" I started to say but he kissed me. " I love you too but you do realize we are acting like a stereotypical rom-com couple right now right?" I said with a smile. This was the first time I had smiled today. "is that so?" he said as he looked in my eyes. "Yeah" I said as I locked eye contact. "I love you f/n" he said with the biggest smile ever. "I love you too Joseph Quinn" I said just before he kissed me. 

I was undeniably in love with Joseph Quinn and he was in love with me.
