“Fuck! He’s been shot... he’s bleeding—hurry, we need to get out of here!” Jimin yells, his voice sharp with panic as he glances at Taehyung's limp body. Yoongi is beside him, covering for them, unleashing a flurry of gunfire at the enemies closing in. The air crackles with the sound of bullets, and Jimin’s heart races, adrenaline pumping as he and Hoseok drag Taehyung’s body toward the car.
They manage to heave him into the back seat, Jimin immediately applying pressure to the bleeding wound on Taehyung’s shoulder, his hands trembling slightly as blood seeps through his fingers. “Come on, come on,” he mutters under his breath, his eyes darting between Taehyung’s pale face and the chaos outside.
Hoseok throws himself into the driver's seat, revving the engine. “Yoongi, come on! We gotta go!” he shouts, his voice tight with urgency as he watches Yoongi fire a few more rounds, holding off their attackers before finally diving into the car.
With a screech of tires, Hoseok slams the gas pedal, speeding away from the danger. The car lurches forward, stray bullets hitting the back of the vehicle, rattling against the metal like hail. Hoseok winces every time, gripping the steering wheel tighter, weaving the car through the narrow streets, desperate to put as much distance between them and the enemies as possible.
The mission had been a disaster. Their assault on one of the Arab boss’s bases had crumbled before it even began. Months of planning, countless hours of preparation—hopes shattered in the span of a few chaotic minutes. They had come searching for a clue, anything that might lead them to Jungkook, but they left with nothing. It was as if Jungkook had vanished, swallowed by the earth itself.
The silence in the car is heavy, broken only by Taehyung’s ragged breaths. Jimin presses harder on the wound, his jaw clenched. He can’t stop thinking about it—the moment Taehyung had lost focus, caught in some kind of trance before making a reckless move. That mistake had almost cost him his life.
“Fuck, Taehyung! You’ve got to be fucking careful—you have kids at home!” Jimin spits angrily, though his voice cracks with worry as he stares down at Taehyung’s unconscious form. The blood soaks through his shirt, staining the fabric dark red, and Jimin’s heart sinks further with every second that passes.
Yoongi, seated beside him, shakes his head, his voice calm despite the chaos they’ve just escaped. “Not his fault, babe. Jungkook’s absence has taken a huge toll on him… he’s barely holding it together.”
The words hang in the air like a cloud of grief. Taehyung had been spiraling ever since Jungkook was taken, his every action fueled by desperation. It wasn’t just about finding Jungkook anymore—it was about survival. Taehyung had thrown himself into every lead, every mission, hoping against hope that he’d be one step closer to finding his husband, the father of his children.
But today had been too much. His emotions had blinded him, leading him into a fatal mistake. And now, they were left praying that this mistake wouldn’t cost Taehyung more than just blood.
The car speeds down the road, the screech of tires fading into the distance, but the tension remains.

" Taehyung’s jaw clenches, his brows furrowed as his husband’s vows echo in his mind. The words once filled with love and promise now feel like a haunting reminder of everything slipping away. The deafening crashes of bombs explode in his ears, shaking the ground beneath him as smoke and fire consume the sky.
