“Anna get up!” I heard yelled at me from downstairs. Groaning I turned over. Why oh why do mornings have to come. I hate them, with a passion. Its not like I didn’t wake up when my alarm went off. Well, I did get up to turn it off but I might have gone back to sleep. Just might. Well anyway I’m going to have to get up now. Grumbling to myself I dragged my sleepy body out of bed as the cold air hit me. Seriously, does nobody know about a little thing called central heating? Oh well I might as well get ready now as I’m already up. Dragging myself towards my cupboard I quickly put on my uniform. After putting a bit of concealer and mascara on and pulled a brush through my hair I started to walk downstairs. What have I got today? Oh I remember Maths! Oh maths I really can’t be bothered with it today. I mean who seriously invented maths? Did they want the rest of mankind to suffer for creating it. I bet in the olden days it was used as a punishment. Boring them to death. I could total see that happening. As I came out of my dreamland state I somehow was looking at the clock. Oh man I am supposed to meet Dayna in two minutes. I mean seriously I couldn’t have tuned out for that long. Oh well of I go to the joy of my life, school (please note the sarcasm) As I rounded the corner of my street I saw a certain black head standing there with not a pleasing look on her face. Maybe I could sneak past her.
“ANNA MORGANS GET HEAR NOW!” Uh oh too late.
“Hi Dayna what a lovely day to be out in don’t ya think? Well I do. Its beautiful. Look at the fluffy white clo…” Suddenly Dayna interrupted my babbling.
“Anna it is raining and I have been standing out here for the last ten minutes! How on earth do you think it’s a lovely day! Why were you late?” Dayna raised her eyebrow daring me to answer.
“Well…” I started, “I may have somehow slept in and it was nothing to do with the fact that I may have ignored my alarm clock.” I winced as I waited to hear what she had to say.
“Oh Anna what am I going to do with you.” She sighed
“Not damage my pretty face.” I replied looking hopeful. She sighed and linked her arm with mine and we started of to school.
