The God of Wind has stopped by to visit you and Rex Lapis! Of course, he brought drinks and as a result, Xiao is now tasked with taking your drunken self to your room...

"Xiao," you whispered slowly, a lazy smile resting on your lips. "Your eyes are sage...clothes are like salvia...how pretty."
"...I'm afraid I don't follow," the Adeptus muttered. Gently, he removed your arm from around his shoulder and placed you on your bed. You giggled slightly as you slunk into the depths of the mattress.
"Please stay put," Xiao requested, seeing you try to wriggle your way off the bed. He was going to fetch some water in a basin and wash you off; the smell of alcohol reeked from your body, and he felt it wasn't right to keep you in the messy state.
You could only hum in response.
Feeling unsure of your answer, the anemo Yaksha hurried to the Inn's bathrooms with a bowl and a towel in hand. He filled the bowl with warm water and then let the towel soak in it as he walked back to your room, only to see that you weren't in the bed.
As your back turned to the door, you were busy creating some potion at your desk and didn't hear the door opening. Sparks and puffs of unknown substances came from the equipment, and Xiao quickly put the water basin down to whisk you away, worried that something would explode.
"Wait," you grumbled, squirming in his hold, unaware that it was Xiao, "I'm...I'm not done!"
"What are you even brewing to make such reactions?" Xiao hissed as he struggled to keep you away from the desk. The liquid in the bottle was still fizzing to some extent, and he had no thought of letting you tinker with it any further.
With a small hiccup, you muttered, "....Xiao's...Little Xiao's medicine. He needs it. Help...him, yes?"
A light blush dusted the Yaksha's cheeks at the thought of you working so hard to help him, even when you weren't in the right mind. He set you on the bed once more and looked at you with gentle eyes. Behind him, he extinguished the fire from the bunsen burner with his powers.
"Oh!" you exclaimed. "Little Xiao...what are you doing here?" Your head bobbled a few times before you bumped your forehead against his, but your head slid down onto his shoulder.
Xiao held his breath as you whispered his name and nestled your head deeper into the crevis of his neck. For a few minutes he felt as if he couldn't move, frozen in time in this strange (albeit, somewhat likable) position he found himself in. His rigid hand slowly made its way to your back for a mere second before he pulled himself away from you, his ears flaring crimson red. Just what was he thinking? You were drunk. He was trusted by Rex Lapis to take care of you.
"(y/n), please lay down, lest you wish to make another mess," he pleaded, pushing you back down into the bed. You pouted and turned your back to him, refusing to look at him. After a while, you finally spoke.
"I don't make messes."
Surprised by your childish attitude, Xiao cleared his throat. The bed creaked as he leaned over you, his hair tickling your face as he muttered softly, "Yes, I apologize. I...I just don't want you to hurt yourself."
You, supposedly appeased by his words, shifted in the bed to face him, a warm smile evident on your face. The Adeptus' heart pounded greatly.
"Really?" you hummed, your voice oozing honey. Your arms found their way around his neck. For some reason, Xiao let himself get pulled in.
"...Yes?" he replied.
You smiled.
"I...I love you. I love you, I love you, I love you."
Ah, how he longed to hear these words from you. His eyes widened and his lips quivered, unable to suppress the best of his emotions. But alas, you were drunk. He couldn't accept your words just yet.
With a flushed face, he slunk into your hold, listening to the slow beating of your heart. You brushed your fingers through his hair as you muttered more loving nonsense you had to offer.
He closed his eyes.
Little Xiao failed with washing you off, but maybe it wasn't so bad after all, hmm?
