The Stolen Dagger

It has been intence with Dream in the castle with all these royals...I'm just glad he decided to play nice. Only two days left to prepare for the party but with such shorrt secudal we have been doing realy good on time. I see Dream walk through the halls with a guard and I manidge to see him snatch a chain from the table without the guard noticing. I chuckle to myself shaking my head as I continue away from Dreams direction. "He truely is sneeky..."  I think to myself as I see Techno leaving his room. "Hey Techno!" I say and he quickly looks to me as I walk up to him. "Hey Wilbur..." Techno says with a hint of annoyance in his voice.

"What's wrong, you sound upset?" I question and he sighs looking down. "My dagger is missing, the one Phil gave me." Techno says and my eyes widen. Phil is Technoes closest friend who has been traveling for the oast few years so Techno hasn't seen him in a while. "Do you know anyone who might have needed it or wanted it?" I question knowing who he might think. Techno is quiet for a moment as if trying to find the right words then he says "I don't want to assume but there is only one theif in the castle... but there is also a lot of othe royals and I could have just miss placed it..." Techno trails off and I give a soft smile. "I'll ask Dream about it and you can go as everyone else..." I say and Techno nods walking away.

I make my way to Dreams room where two guards stand. I nock and Dream answers letting me in and shutting the door behind me. "Hello you're highness, what do you want now?" Dream asks in a playful tone and I sigh as I try to think of a good way to ask.

I tilt my head at the royal as I se the surrious exspression. "Dream... I don't mean anything by this question but I just have to ask... Techno's dagger has gone missing and it's from a close friend of his... Did you happen to have taken it? He does't seem to think it was you and is asking the other royals in the castle." Wilbur asks truning away from me and walking towards the large glass doors. I sigh saying truthfuly "I didn't take it...I understand why you would ask and I'm glad Techno is atleast trying to trust that I wouldn't do that..." Wilbur says with releaf and turns back to me with a wide smile. "Good, I trust you on this..." Wilbur says walking up to me. I nod and he goes for the door. "What does it look like?" I ask and Wilbur freezes turning to me. "It's a netherite one with an ingraving on the blade part of it." Wilbur says and I say "If I see it, I will return it to Techno" Wilbur nods leaving the room and shutting the door behind.

I quickly walk to the closet opening it and digging to the back of the closet and pulling out a netherite dagger with an engraving. "Shit! I must have taken it in my cursed state." I mumble to myself shaking my head. "I'll hide the dagger dinning area so he can find it himself." I think to myslef hidding the dagger in my cloak. "I told the truth... I didn't take it... cursed me did." I think to myself with a chuckle.
