The Realization

----Dream---

I wake in my bed with a gasp as I sit up. I look at my hands and see they are normal and I quickly calm. Wilbur runs in and looks at me with a look of concern. "Are you okay?" Wilbur asks walking up to the side of my bed. I quickly stand but then my legs begin to shake and I fall. Wilbur catches me and stands me back to my feet. We stand just inches apart. "W-Wilbur... I-I-I'm a monster..." I say and Wilbur quickly shakes his head yelling "You are not a monster! It's a curse you can't controle!"

My eyes widen from behind the mask as I realize... he cares about me... like a real friend. I hang my head as tears swell, behind my mask. Wilbur makes me look at him and he gives me a soft smile while slowly removing my mask. Wilbur pulls me into a tight embrase and I quickly return the favor. "Th-Thank you Wilbur..." I say lookin up at Wilbur who stares at me with widened eyes.

"Wh-What is it?" I ask, my heart rate slightly rising and Wilbur smiles. "You look beautiful without the mask is all..." Wilbur says and I can feel my face begin to burn.

----Wilbur----

I see a dark blush hit Dream's pale skin and I realize what I said. It then hits me what that feeling was before... I... I've fallen for the legendary theif... Dream looks away quickly, trying to hide his blush but I make him look up once more. "Wi-" Before Dream can finnish his sentence I pull Dream into a kiss... closing my eyes and Dream tences up but then kisses back.

After a minute I pull away, feeling my heart race and my face burn. I look into Dreams sparkling emerald green eyes, realizing that one of his eyes is serounded with black and the green is mixed with purple on his left eye. "Your curse is cerupting now..." I say feeling my heart ache. Dream looks down with a sigh before hugging me closely once more. I hug back feeling the tears fall down my face. "I'll help you Dream... even if it's the last thing I do..." I think to myself as I lay my head on his....
