Chapter 9

YN's POV

after the meeting was done I walked out of the room with a shocked face printed on and everything was spinning and I couldn't breath, I started to hyperventilate. "Hey,hey, hey Y/N it's ok" Stephen said while placing a hand on my shoulder, I flinched and winced in fear. He gave me a sad look.

I felt panicked, I held onto the wall so I didn't fall to the ground, I ran into the lady's bathroom and fell to the ground crying and hyperventilating. The door opened and Pepper came in and kneeled in front of me "I'm going to grab your hands ok Y/N" she said with a calm mother voice. I nodded my head and she grabbed my hands. "Tell me 5 things tou see" she said, I knew this trick but I just couldn't think right now.

"My hands, You, the floor, the wall, and a sink" I said between chokes and sobs. "Good now tell me 4 things you can feel" "your hands, the floor, the wall, tears" "good job, now tell me 3 things you can hear" her voice was so calm "your voice, my breathing, and a-and I- I don't know" tears were still coming down my cheeks. "That's ok, now 2 things you can smell" "p-perfume and air freshener" "lastly 1 thing you can taste" "my mint gum" I said with a little smile and giggle. "Good, amazing job Y/N" she pulled me into a hug, she reminded me so much of my mom.

I always felt safe and secure with my mom, but ever since she died I haven't felt safe once, Dad is always drinking or hitting me. The tears eventually stopped coming out and my breathing calmed down. She held me for a little longer and and rubbed my back, "thank you Mrs. Potts" I said while hugging her "your welcome honey" she said with that calm voice I loved.

We walked out of the bathroom a few minutes later and we walked to the common room where everyone was sitting around talking about something I didn't understand, Nat and Bucky were having a conversation in Russian about if dogs or cats are better, Clint and Tony and Steve were laughing about a dog that couldn't figure out Which way was up or down the stairs. Pietro and Wanda and America were sending each other memes, Peter and James were trying to see what a graffitiest was spray painting, Sam and Thor was watching Football and Thor kept on asking the dumbest questions and Stephen had to keep shutting him up.

"Hey kid hey Pepper" Tony said while walking up to us. Dr. Strange walked up to me when he saw us. Thor was still questioning the game and Sam was having enough of his bs.

"Sorry that pirate scared you, he isn't the best with kids if you can't tell" Tony said while putting his hand on my shoulder, I flinched and he lifted his hand "sorry" I said.

We all sat down around the coffee table where Sam and Thor were and we played a game "which game we finna play" Peter asked "ahh enough with that slangslung of yours" Steve said annoyed, I laughed and America was trying to cover a laugh. Steve looked at me and I stopped laughing but silently covered my laugh. "Monopoly?" Scott suggested "monopoly it is" Clint said while grabbing the game.

We played for about 2 hours before Tony and Scott started fighting over a rental house -_- I ended up landing on the same renting house they were on, I was gonna pay Scott for it but then realized I had the other 2 blue ones. I bought it and Tony and Scott were flabbergasted. "She served you right" Wanda said before rolling the dice. Tony rolled his eyes and walked to the kitchen to get some water.

We played for about another 3 hours and we were getting tired and mad at each other "why did we choose this game" Scott said while yawning "your the one that chose it" Wanda said.

"I got 3 kids that haven't seen me in a while I gotta go" Clint said before standing up "ya I gotta bring those 2 back to Nepal" Stephen said  while pointing at me and America.

Clint's POV

I got home and I saw Laura was cooking dinner, what looked like spaghetti. I went up to her and put my arms around her waist and kissed her neck, she smiled and giggled "hey Clint" she said, I smiled and I saw Lila doing her homework, I kissed his head "hey Lila how was school" "it was good, passed that calculus test" "wow amazing job Lila! I gave her a high five.

Nathaniel came running up to me "daddy!" He yelled while hugging me. "Hey buddy!" I picked him up and kissed his head "where's your brother?" "I don't know he's been in his room" "he had a bad day I think" Laura said while draining the noodles. "he went straight to his room, I tried to talk to him but wouldn't open the door"

I walked to Cooper's room and knocked on the door "Cooper can I come in?" "No" it was a muffled voice, sounded like he'd been crying. "Can we please talk" I said in a soft calm voice. It took a minute for him to respond but eventually he got up and opened the door.

His face was tear stained and he looked really sad "what happened buddy" we sat down on his bed and he leaned his head on my shoulder. I rubbed his back in circles and hummed. "Chloe" Was all he said. (Chloe was his gf) "what happened with you two?" I said in a soft voice "she cheated"

I was about to kill that girl- ain't nobody mess with my child. I sat with him for the next ten minutes before Laura came to the door and said dinner was ready. Cooper walked up to His mother and gave her a tight hug. "What happened" she asked me after he left for the dinner table. "Chloe cheated on him" I said while sighing. "What?!" She whisper yelled "I'm going to kill her" I said before walking to help Nathaniel get some food. (Lila is 13, Cooper is 16, Nathaniel is 5. I couldn't find any websites of their real ages, I just know the order)

Y/N's POV

We got back to Kamar-Taj, America and I went to the Library while Dr. Strange went to train some other sorcerers. I read books on the multiverse trying to find out how to get back to my universe so I could see Alex again I couldn't find anything, but I did find something on family bonds.

'If one living member of a powerful sorcerer family travels through the multiverse without control one can turn to the more. Blood line can't exist in 2 universes, exact genes are only in one universe. If there are two of the same genetic blood line in more than one universe it can cause a multiversal collision.

More people will come, more people will disappear, some will die, some may even converse. Multiverses can converse."

I was sister shook. Would my family disappear? Am I ending a blood line by being in the wrong multiverse? I grab the book and ran to Wongers. America gave me a weird look but went back to reading. I couldn't find Wong at first but I finally found him on the top balcony. "Mr Wong! Mr Wong!" I yelled from down the hall.

He turned around in concern, I gave him the book and pointed to where to read. He read over it and went pale, his eyes were wide open "where did you find this book?" "In the library-" I said stating the obvious. He rolled his eyes "where in the library" "the section near the chained up books" I said while we walked there.

Stephen was already there looking for more books like the one I had "that is the only book that has uncontrollable multiversal travel" he said while pointing at it. Wong went to read the rest of it. "My family is finna die aren't they?" I said "no Y/N I promise you they won't" I looked down, is it bad that I hoped my dad would die from this? I felt guilty for thinking about it but it was the truth.

"What's on your mind kid?" He asked "I-is it wrong I kinda hope my dad dies from this" I said while still looking down, he sighed "all because you think it doesn't mean you actually mean it" he said while patting my shoulder. I nodded and went over to America.
