Chapter 13

Gerald's POV (his universe)

I was drinking my sorrows in my room, missing my wife and now my daughter had vanished. I never really showed it but I loved her, she just reminds me too much of her mother, Alex reminds me of my self when I was little.

I never fit in like he did, I was the 'weirdo' with superpowers and a genius child who was in 12th grade at the age of 13. Alex is 17 though and is already in college which impressed me because you usually aren't aloud to skip grades now in this generation.

I was about to go talk to Alex and apologize to him when FIDA started talking "Boss Alex wanted me to tell you to fuck off" "WHAT" I yelled. I slammed my door open and went to Alex's room but he wasn't there, his drawers were open and his phone charger was gone, the picture frame of all of us were gone. "Dammit" I mumbled under my breath.

I went down stairs and flew up trying to find my son but I couldn't see him. Well ofc I couldn't see him he has invisibility and he has super speed which didn't make this any easier. I really am a crappy parent huh.

I went back inside after 2 hours of looking, FIDA was already told to notify me if Y/N was spotted on any security cameras "FIDA alert me if Alex is spotted on any security cameras." "Yes sir"

I was talking to the police about my kids and still had no clues or ideas what the hell happened to my daughter, I mean seriously she literally just vanished in thin air after going insane.

I was talking to a Officer Aaron when FIDA alerted me "sir Alex has been spotted on a security camera in Ohio" Ohio? Me and the officers went to the common room and FIDA showed us the camera, it was near an alley and he looked like his sister did when she disappeared.

Security cameras 3rd person POV

Alex walked out of an alley, he looked panicked and was screaming for help. He was shaking like there was an earthquake happening. "Help! Please someone!" He rushed to the middle of the road screaming.

He zoomed off to the left. The security camera then changed to an intersection.

He looked panicked and was backing up slowly, it looked like he was about to die. He ran back to where he was before. The cameras switched again.

He saw something and he stopped running, he looked to his left and to the right panicked, he closed his eyes like he was accepting his fate. Then the camera glitched for 5 seconds and he was gone.

The camera's glitched a minute later and Alex was laying on the sidewalk with purple around him. The camera glitched again and Alex was gone.

YN's POV

We got back to Kamar-Taj later that day and I went straight to my room "night" I heard Stephen say to me while I ran up the stairs. I just mumbled back.

I got to my room, brushed my teeth and went straight to bed. I stayed up for a few hours thinking about life and of Alex, I was afraid that if I fell asleep I would see Dad again and I would have a bad memory of him again.

I fell asleep eventually.

Y/N's dream third person POV

"Sweetie come here breakfast is ready" Y/N ran to her mother and sat on the kitchen chair and waited for her eggs and toast, she wasn't that hungry though she had pop tarts  an hour ago. "Thank you mommy" Y/N said while picking up her toast and taking pieces off to eat it "your welcome."

"Thanks mom" Alex said from across the table "hey honey" Gerald said while kissing his wife on the lips. "Hey" Ruby said. Gerald went over and kissed Y/n on her head, she smiled "hi daddy!" She said while giving him a hug "hey sweetheart" he said while smiling. He then walked over the Alex.

Gerald then left for the elevator to go to a meeting, he left and Mom picked up Y/n and brought her to the living room to watch her favorite show, Scooby-doo. Ruby placed Y/n down and went to pick up the plates. when Ruby came back over to Y/n, she was covered in blood,  2 gunshots wounds in her chest and a robotic fire blast burn in her stomach. She looked dead.

Y/n screamed in fear.

I woke up gasping, I thought I was just having a good dream about my mom and what life was like before she died but then I saw her dead body. I still had nightmares about seeing a dead body, the first dead body I ever saw was my moms.

Traumatizing I know.

I got changed and walked out to the training area and sparred by myself. It was only 4 am so no one was awake except for a few kids who pulled all nighters studying magic or school.

I was sparring and all I could think about was the dream, I missed her so much. She was the only one keeping this family together and without her this family is hell. My dad is even too ashamed to say I'm his child, he stopped loving and caring for me the day I killed her.

"What you doing up so early it's 6 am" Stephen said. "I couldn't sleep" I said while panting. It was already 6? Wow I sparred with no stop for 2 hours straight. "Why not?" He asked "just couldn't I guess" "huh" he said.

I continued sparring for about 10 more minutes then went back to my room to take a shower, when I was in the shower I took the razor blade.

As the blade's cold steel slid across my arm, slowly, delicately slicing my flesh. The mirror stared me in the eyes, and I saw someone I didn't recognized.

I looked back down to my arms, Blood was rushing down my wrists and thighs combining with the water and it stung. A tear left my eyes with out me knowing cause yk I was in the shower. The blood didn't stop coming out and I got a little concerned cause it was a lot of blood. I got out of the shower and applied pressure, it still wouldn't stop

What do I do?? I can't call Stephen, he'll know I'm weak and cut. I can't call America I don't want her knowing I'm weak. I can't call anyone, what would mom do if this happened? Ah! She would cover it up and hope it healed. I put my clothes on after the blood slows down and walked back down stairs. "Hey Y/N!" America said while hugging me, I hugged her back.

"Cmon were going to the area" the area? What's the area? She dragged me across the streets of Nepal then soon realized we were going to her lil hide out. We got there and took off our shoes. "Peter, Wanda, and Pietro are finna be here any minute" Mer said.

We were cooking popcorn when they arrived "Heyy" Wanda said while everyone took off their shoes. "Hey Mer hey Y/n" Peter said, it almost looked like he blushed when he saw me. Oh my gosh I loved Peter so much but I wasn't really interested in him or was I?

I think I'm interested in someone else in the group...
