Luke decided to tell me last minute that we're going to his dads house for a barbeque, with his father, brother, sister in law, and his nephew. Right now im doing my makeup while luke is sitting on the couch. He got ready first probably knowing I take the longest, I finish my makeup by putting on some lashes and look for an outfit. I grabbed some plain light washed mom jeans then grabbed a black black tube top, realising it might be a little too much skin I grab one of the button ups I made but never sold bc I didn't think it was my best. I put on some white socks and grey and white dunks. My hair is in a slicked back pony tail with edges done and silver hoop earrings. I matched the earrings with a silver necklace that had a rose on it and head to my living room.

"Is this good?" I ask Luke biting my lip. He rolls his eyes and nods,"baby you could have worn sweats and a hoodie and would have been fine." He says making me vastly shake my head,"uh no, no I wouldn't have. This is like real first impressions! Baby if I look like shit they will think i am shit!" I exclaimed making him let out a chuckle as I pout in response. "Come on we can't be latee" I say grabbing his arm.
Its been a couple months now, lukes been getting better at walking again. He uses a kane as of right now, hes trying to be fully out of a wheel chair. I have trust though, someday he's hoping to run across the world. with my following him in a car.. But still he'll do it.
Making sure we have everything luke takes the keys while I grab the food I made because uh hello? if you don't bring food why tf are you going. Luke opens the door and lets me walk through then locks and closes the door as we make our way.
time skip
Getting out of the car I grab the food and Luke puts his hand on my lower back as we make our way too the house. fuck I'm nervous.. Luke knocks on the door and soon I see his father open the door. they've gotten closer since Luke got hurt. "Hey dad," luke said with a small smile making his dad smile back,"hi luke, hello maddy." He says as he moves aside letting us in. "Hi Mr morrow its nice to see you again," I say making him laugh, "Madeline I've told you, you can call me jacob." He says making me shake my head, "Lukes brother already has that and I feel like it'd be confusing, we've gotta think of something else." I say making him chuckle. "Follow me" he says to both of us leading us outside.
I lay the food down on the outside counter with the rest of the food as Mr morrow flips burgers on the grill and Luke makes his way to say hello to his brother. I then go and sit at the picnic table with Luke's sister in law. "Hey Hailey" I say sitting down so next to her. We've gotten closer as well over the last couple months. As we continue our conversation Spencer, lukes nephew, asks Luke to play football. Everyone is a little cautious but Luke happily agrees and they all start playing. Hes amazing with children..
"Thinking about having kids?" Hailey ask catching me off guard, "Uhm.. I mean we haven't really-" I get cut off as Luke says,"hey Hailey let the girl become a famous fashion designer first. Kids after though baby," he says looking at me during the last bit making me blush as smile. "After," I agree nodding making him smile. I blow him a kiss as we all get back to our conversation waiting for the food to finish.

My brain is trying to brain and write some things for this story so gimmie some time 🙄. Hope you all enjoyed this little family chapter, I honestly had no clue about this chapter until I wrote it. I want to try to end this story around maybe 25-30 chapters? Maybe idk yet. Anyways until next time <33
