"Did he force you?" Asked Munhee getting down on his knees.
"No." The purple haired girl gripped over the sheet she was sitting on, glaring at her father, she spoke. "Do you see this? He made me sleep on this."
Munhee smiled shaking his head slightly. "Do you know... I've personally never met any girl that has not slept with her husband on her first night." Munhee spoke raising his eyebrows.
"What does that have to do with me?" Minji replied slightly annoyed.
"Feel grateful. He is not like others..." Checking the door Munhee continued his sentence, "Junghoon didn't love Seojun. He was forced to marry her. People might not notice it but even after so many years you can tell that they still don't love each other like they should. Who knows what happened behind our back? Who knows if Junghoon actually forced Seojun to sleep with him or not for the revenge? Be grateful that the crown prince respects you. He saved you, most men wouldn't even care about their wives." He explained with a sigh in the end.
Their conversation was disturbed when the maid walked inside opening the door. Her eyebrows furrowed with worry as she looked at Minji.
"Your highness... The crown prince has been arrested." The maid spoke.
"Leave, I'm having a conversation with my father." Minji spoke sternly.
Munhee wasn't surprised with Minji's response, he got up, "I will join you." He spoke looking at the maid.

Yoohseok looked at his wrists which were tightly tied with a rope.
He looked up at the king.
"I want you to listen to me and not arrest me. I am afraid the queen won't like this..." He spoke making an eye contact with Junghoon.
"Are you threatening me?" Asked Junghoon raising an eyebrow.
"No your majesty." Yoohseok replied.
"It's all because of the queen! She has his back and that's why he took my finger!" Ryeo yelled in frustration, showing his bruised hand to the king.
"The Crown Princess is here, bow down!" The guard announced, Minji walked towards her seat beside Yoohseok.
She looked at his rope tied around his wrists. She was very curious to know what happened.
"Your majesty, it's completely Duho's fault." Sunoo spoke.
"The queen is here, bow down!" The guard announced.
Seojun paced through the path in anger, she was already fuming with the news of her son getting arrested.

Once settled on her seat, Seojun gestured the king to continue.
"Alright, Ryeo you can go first." The king spoke.
"Your majesty, my son Duho and Hanuel asked the crown prince if he would like to compete with them. Yoohseok got angry because he knew he couldn't defeat the both of them. His ego was hurt so he ordered Sunoo to cut my finger off..." Ryeo sniffed and wiped his tears with a broken sobs.
"Duho and Hanuel, do you have anything to say?" Asked the king.
"Say no..." Hwayoung whispered to Hanuel.
"No your majesty..." Hanuel spoke.
"Your majesty what father said is right..." Duho spoke walking towards his father.
"You people are filthy liars." Sunoo spoke looking at Ryeo and Duho.
"Don't interfere in between." Junghoon warned Sunoo.
"It's a right decision to arrest Yoohseok." Junghoon spoke.
"No, i want to listen to Yoohseok. Tell us what happened." Seojun spoke looking at Yoohseok.
"I was going on my way, Duho and Hanuel approached me. They wanted me to compete with them like uncle said. They wanted me to put something at risk, when i asked what they wanted me to do, Hanuel said, they would give their swords to me if they got defeated but if i get defeated they would spend one night with my wife. I got angry. To make it a lesson for other people and especially for Duho i demanded uncle's finger. I won't hesitate to do it again if someone tries to disrespect my wife." Yoohseok explained.
Minji stared at him for awhile. She averted her gaze on Seojun.
"You need to apologise to Ryeo. He is your uncle." Junghoon spoke.
Minji slightly leaned towards Yoohseok's ear, "You should apologise. The king will get angry and the consequences-"
"I will not apologise. What I did was right." Yoohseok spoke.
"Look at him. Is this how you raised him?!" Junghoon whisper-yelled looking at Seojun.
Seojun smiled, "As a queen, i order the guards to leave Yoohseok. Taking stand for his wife was indeed a right thing to do. He isn't a coward to just let anyone disrespect his wife. Release him." Seojun spoke, she turned to face Junghoon on the last sentence.
Junghoon got up from his chair and walked away followed by Ryeo and Duho. Hanuel followed them.

Yoohseok got up and stretched his arms freely, he smiled and gave a bow to Seojun. "Thank you..." He spoke.
She hummed and walked away.
Yoohseok followed her with Sunoo beside him.
Minji stood there watching him walk away. "He is so cool. I wish he was my husband!" Minji looked at her maid who walked towards her in a hurry.
"Yes, i want a husband like him..." Another maid replied with a blush visible on her face.
Minji cleared her throat and started walking.

[Night]
"The king is going to be here soon..." Junghoon spoke looking between Yoohseok and Hanuel.
"King? Who?" Asked Yoohseok.
"He currently rules Eastern Swei. We will welcome him tomorrow. I want everyone to be on their best behaviour." Junghoon spoke resting his hands on the table.
"Alright..." Hanuel and Yoohseok replied in unison.

Minji placed the empty bowl on the table.
"Where is the crown prince?" She asked looking up at her maid.
"He will have his dinner with the king and the grand prince."
"Alright..." Minji whispered.
The maids took the tray putting the empty bowls in it. They walked towards the door.
Yoohseok entered inside just after the maids left.
There was an awkward silence when he was faced with Minji.
He walked towards the table situated on the side, keeping his sword on it, he walked towards the door, opening it, he spoke, "Bring two beds." He whispered looking at the maid who was standing near the door.

Minji clasped her hands behind as the maid arranged their beds.
They were once again stuck with the silence once the maid left. Yoohseok walked over his bed and sat on it with a sigh, removing his hat he ran his fingers through his hair.
He kept his hat on his side, he caught Minji staring at him.
"What?" He spoke raising his eyebrows.
Minji bit on her lower lip before speaking, "Thank you... I was very shocked and felt angry with what Duho said about me. Thank you for not accepting the competition." She spoke genuinely with a small smile.
Yoohseok hummed and layed back on the bed with a yawn.
Minji walked over her bed and layed herself on it before closing her eyes gently and drifting off to sleep.
