No More Doubts, Just Trust Her

After a whole 8 hours of sleep, Amelia woke up to another day. The weight from her chest lightened up a bit. She remembered what happened last night and felt a little embarassed.

She decides to just put the thought behind and follow her mom's advice.

"Mom's right. If she's a terrible friend, just unfriend her."

Amelia took a quick shower and dressed up in a flash. She immediately went downstairs to have breakfast. She felt like she forgot something. But, chose to ignore it because it must be something unimportant.

"Wow. You're up early, Sweetcake. I'm proud." - Mom

"Just in time, mom." - Amelia

"Hey~ Lil' sis! Up early today?" - Ayden

"Just in time, big bro." - Amelia

"Just in time, you say? This is early enough for you." - Dad

"Is my standard wake up time that bad?" - Amelia

A,M,D: Yes.

"Haa.. I'll get going now. See you at dinner." - Amelia

"Be careful, Sweetcake." - Mom

"Remember, make at least ONE friend till the end of the week, or I'll win the bet and you're puddings are ALL mine." - Ayden

"Fyi, you already lost. Cause I already made a friend. Ha! When I get home, you're MyTab's all mine." - Amelia

"You-!" - Ayden

Amelia left the house happily. She walked to school with hope that she'll see Mazzie. She forgot entirely, about her doubts for a second. But it all came back when she reached her school gate.

"Haa.. What am I so worried about? I mean, you don't want to be classified as having trust issues, do you now Amelia?"

"Talking.. To yourself?"

"MEEEEEPPP!!!!"

[Shocked]
"Everyone's looking at you."

[Pulls back her soul into her body]
"Don't. Do that! You scared me!"

"Sorry, sorry. I always have this zero aura presence, so people could hardly feel me around."

"Never mind. I'm sorry too."

"So, should we walk together?"

[Giggles]
"Yeah.. Let's.."

"Great! So, something REALLY funny happened to me yesterday and.."

(She looks like someone reliable. No more doubts, just trust her)

When they entered the school, they went for their lockers. As soon as they reached their homeroom, they each sat in their seats. Suddenly, a question from Mazzie impaled Amelia right into her chest.

"When are you going to give back the jacket?"

[Breaks into pieces]
"I.. Left it!"

"You-! Seriously? Girl, you better didn't promise him to give it back TODAY."

"I did.!"

"Ok, you're doomed. He's definitely going to come and look for you at recess."

"This is the worst.."
[Bangs head onto desk]

"Uhh.. H-hey.. I said that he's gonna look for you. I didn't say it's the end of the world."

Amelia didn't say a word. Mazzie felt very guilty for giving her the worst outcome possibility. Luckily, their class sessions will start and Amelia will never lose focus on lessons during class. Amelia walked with Mazzie to their first class period, Math. Great, just the perfect subject to distract Amelia from personal problems.
