"Cute earphone"

"Are you guys coming to my basketball game this weekend?" Jake asked while the trio were walking down the school hallway.

"Isn't that tomorrow?" Jungwon asked. I heard there's going to be an after-party.

"That's if we win". Jake replied.

"Well then you guys better win, a party sounds pretty good to me". Sunoo speaks for the first time.

"Don't worry we have Ni-ki. Jake stated proudly while smiling".

Jake was right. Even though they weren't really on good terms with Ni-Ki's friend group they still can't help but admit the fact that the boy was a monster in basketball, probably the reason why he is the captain of the team.
Their school is known for rarely losing basketball matches and that's all mostly thanks to Niki, so there is probably no wonder why Ni-ki had a large fanbase even outside of the school.

To be honest Sunoo never had anything against Ni-ki despite him being a rich brat he was kind and considerate.
They would sometimes have short conversations when Sunoo would pick up Jake after basketball practice.

"So that's a yes, right? You guys are coming". Jake sternly said while looking at his two friends.

"Of course, score a goal for me jakey".

"Will do that, Sun".

When they reached the outside of the school, they bid Jungwon goodbye since he got picked up by his driver.

"You should head home, I still have to wait for Winter she still has a class".

"Do you want me to wait with you?"

"Nah you should go home I'll be fine"

"Okay then see you tomorrow at the game jakey".

"Bye, Sun".

Sunoo was sitting at the bus stop waiting for his bus when he spotted a particular guy he has been trying to avoid the whole week walking towards him.

Oh, no. Panicking and not knowing what to do, Sunoo plugs his earphone in while trying not to look at Ethan.

Some minutes passed and when he started to think that Ethan had maybe not seen him and had walked past —

"Nice earphone".

Sunoo felt his earphone getting removed from his ear.

"What do you want now?" he asked not wanting to deal with Ethan on a nice Friday after school.

"What do mean all I did was compliment your nice earphone?" Ethan said innocently which caused Sunoo to roll his eyes.

He knew what the latter was trying to imply by complimenting his earphones, Sunoo's earphones were just normal wired earphones you would get from your local store, something that is definitely not Ethan's standard.

Furious and embarrassed Sunno snapped his pink earphone away from Ethan who was still smiling at him.

"Chill little fox, I was just admiring the cute color nothing else".

Right, Sunoo had totally forgotten that his earphone was pink with heart-shaped stickers, how embarrassing!!! "It's not mine" Sunoo jumps to his own defense.

"It's still cute nonetheless".

Sunoo was about to disagree when he noticed a large scar on Ethan's left cheek. The scar was still fresh and it looked like it hurts.

Without even thinking Sunoo held Ethan's left jaw while his thumb gently caressed the bruised cheek.

"What happened there he asked with his eyes still settled on the wound while his thumb continued caressing it".

Sunoo suddenly realized what situation he was in when Ethan grabbed his wrist which resulted in locking his eyes with Ethan's.

They were both looking at each other both lost in their own thoughts, Sunno didn't know what it was, why his heart was beating so fast, why did he like the feeling of Ethan's—-

"It's here". Ethan suddenly said while letting go of Sunoo's wrist.

Sunoo who just traced out of his thoughts could do nothing but only stare at Ethan confused.

"Your bus, it's here" Ethan said while looking at something behind Sunoo.

Sunoo turned around to see what Ethan was staring at. His bus had arrived and the driver was waiting for him to finally get in. Without sparing Ethan a last glance Sunoo gets on his bus and to his surprise, there was no teasing comment from Ethan.
