• To the moon and back •

"Link! Come here!" Risa tries to catch up with her son, Lincoln, who doesn't want to wear his t-shirt. "No! Mommy Ris!" Link giggled as he ran around the kitchen, running past his Mama Leni who is preparing their snack.

"Atticus Lincoln, slow down! You know naman na bawal mapagod si Mommy and baby brother mo. Naka kalat pa yung toys mo oh. Baka madapa ka." Leni tries to stop their son but Link being stubborn like her, he just kept running.

Risa finally caught up with Link. "Huli ka!" Risa laughed as Lnik tries to wiggle his way out of Risa's arms.

"Tama na ang laro. Wear your shirt na para makaalis na tayo." Leni help Risa to get Link ready.

It's Link's fourth birthday the other day and Leni decided to bring Link to the nearest zoo as her late birthday gift for her son. Dahil wala siya nung mismong birthday ni Link due to some business trip to Singapore and Risa decided to stay at home to finish her office work.

"Sure ka bang hindi ka sasama?" Leni has been trying to convince Risa na sumama sa kanila para din family bonding na. "I need to finish my work kasi, gha." Risa suddenly felt a weird gut feeling in her stomach, thinking it's her pregnancy, she shrugged off that gut feeling.

"Ingat kayo ah." Risa gave Leni a sweet kiss on her lips that made Link to make weird gagging noises. "That's so ew, Mama and Mommy." Link groaned.

Leni and Risa laughed at their son's reaction. Risa crouched down on her son's height to kiss Link's forehead.

Risa looked into her son's brown eyes. "Be good for Mama, okay? and enjoy."

"I will but it'll be more fun if you're there, Mommy." Link responded to Risa. "Babawi si Mommy next time. I love you to the moon and back, My Atticus Lincoln." Risa gave Link a nose to nose. "I love you to the moon and back plus the stars, Mommy and Mama and baby!" Link gave Risa a tight hug.

The weird gut feeling came back. Risa wanted to stop her wife and son from leaving but she also wants Leni to spend some time with their son to make it up to him for not being there on his birthday.

"Pangga, mag iingat sa pagdadrive ah?" Risa told her wife. "Mag iingat kami, gha." Leni smiled at Risa, trying to lessen her worry.

"Promise 'yan ah. Alam mo naman na kahit na anong ingat sa daan may mga loko lokong driver padin."

"I promise. Uuwi kami ng anak mo sayo."

Leni and Link left their condo and went to the zoo. Expecting a day filled with fun memories to treasure forever but everything took a dark turn.
