September 1997

The last year had been hard.

After the whole murder thing, Randy Sid and I all went back to school to finish our senior year. Still on edge with billy and Stu still being out there but there was officers outside the school the whole time. Well until around April.

The school had decided to have small memorials for Tatum, Casey and Steve. Outside each of their lockers were their photo and flowers. Her cheerleading uniform was folded by a photo of her with the team.

It was hard for Sid and I to see every time we went to our lockers at the start but as time went on it got a little bit easier.

By the end of the year Randy Sid and I opted to not go to the prom and stay in instead. It was there that we discussed college and decided we would all go to the same one. Windsor.

It was a college that Tatum has spoken non stop about. Their was a great cheerleading scholarship for there and its all she ever seemed to talk about. Well that and sororities.

By the time September had come, we had all gotten our expectance letters.

"Do you have everything?" My mom asked as I finished packing my suitcase.

"Yes mom. We went over the checklist like four times" I said laughing as I zipped up the bag

"I know I know. I just dont want you to forget anything" she told me

"I'm sure ill be fin-"

*beep beep*

"That will be randy" I said looking out my window to see Randy waiting outside between both Sid and my house.

Both his parents worked up by the airport so this morning mr and mrs Meeks drove together. Randy was gonna leave the car at the airport so mrs Meeks could drive it home while mr Meeks drove their car.

I lifted my suitcase from my bed and put it on the floor. "Ready" I said looking up at mom who's eyes were tearing up "mom I'm gonna be fine" I reassured her

"I know I know. I just worry. You know me." She said as she wiped her tears before pulling me into a hug. "I'm gonna miss you"

"Ill be home for Christmas" I could feel her nod as she pulled away

"Okay. Lets go" she said standing back as she walked out of the room.

I followed her making my way down the stairs and towards the front door

"Where's Tessa?" I asked just as grandma walked out of the kitchen holding her.

Grandma had decided to come and live with mum after dad died. Grandpa had died around 7 years ago and mom thought it would be a good idea for her to live with us instead of being home alone all the time.

"There she is" I said holding my arms out taking my little sister out of her arms. "You wanna come and say bye to Randy and sidney with me?" At the mention of the two names her eyes lit up

I turned back to look at mom who nodded to me. "Ill grab your suitcase. Go" and with that I turned on my feet bouncing my sister up and down on my hip.

"Randy" she called out causing the boy who was checking his backseat for something to turn around to her. She wriggled out of my arms as I put her on the groun.

She took off running towards the boy who was bending down with his arms out, picking her up and spinning her as she ran into his arms.

"Hello sweetheart. How are you" he asked as she looked at him, A large smile spread across her face

"I'm good"

"Is that my Tessa I see?" A voice sounded from behind them as Tessa looked over Randy's shoulder

"Sidney!" She shouted as she, once again wriggled her way out of the grip she was in and ran towards Sidney. Sidney lifted her and tackled her in kisses and hugs as Tessa giggled at her.

By now I had made my way to Randy and he had given mam a hug, before taking my bag off her and putting it in the boot. I made my way over to grandma and gave her a hug before turning back to Randy

"You ready for this?" He asked and I shrugged my shoulders

"It's a new adventure. And its not in Woodsboro. Why wouldn't I be" I said shrugging with a smile on my face.

"All right" he said throwing his arm around my should before we both looked at Sidney who was making her way over to us with Tessa. Neil following behind with her suitcase.

One he placed it in the boot he turned to me, holding his arms out to the side I moved away from Randy and wrapped my arms around him.

"I'll miss you kiddo" he said as he looked down at me

"I'm gonna miss you too Neil" I said before pulling away.

"You girls ready?" My head turned to Randy who was standing by the open drivers door. Nodding, I moved to grab Tessa from Sidney, before squeezing her

"Ill miss you munchkin" I said as she gave me a kiss on my cheek. "I love you"

"I love you too Y/n" she said before I put her down and said bye to mam. I turned back to the car to see Sidney hop into the back seat giving me shotgun. Taking a breath I pulled open the door and sat in.

"Ready?" Randy asked as I looked back at Sidney in the mirror

"Ready" we said as he began to pull off

"I think I'm gonna cut my hair" I turned back to look at Sidney furrowing my brows

"What? Why?" She shrugged her shoulders at me before playing with the ends of her hair

"I think its time for change" I smiled before turning back to the front

"I think I might grow out my side burns" he said causing Sid and I to laugh. Looking offended he looked between me and the mirror where Sidney at "what the hell. Do you not think I'd look good" he looked at me but I couldn't help but laugh as I looked out the window to the sign on the side of the road
