{Our Pride.} (A STEDDIE FAN FICTION)

PROLOGUE

Steve was a lion, his fur was a light golden brown and his mane was a dark chocolatey brown, for an almost grown lion his mane was small and his hair was short, that didn't really help during the cold season. When he was younger he was kicked from his pack, his father wanted no challenges for the role of pack leader. For days, weeks he traveled through the dry savanna looking for shelter or even the smallest amount of food and water. Along the way he found 4 male cubs, one had light black-gray fur(mike). The 2nd had curly light brown fur and vanilla cream colored paws(dustin), the 3rd had a short mane with dark brown fur and black highlights going through his fur(lucas) and the last one had light tan fur that was very short like steves(will).

Steve guessed they had been kicked from their pack like him, but they were much younger and smaller, if they stayed here alone they wouldn't survive. So Steve did the only thing he could think of....take them in.

 Not long after finding the four cubs they found a waterhole, they ran to get some water but stopped on the sight of two female lioness drinking from it. 

one had curly fur and it was a hazelnut brown, the second one had dark golden brown red fur and she seemed skittish and nervous at first but boy was she sassy. The first one lifted her head and looked steve up and down and then glanced at the cubs, mike ran from behind steve and walked up to the lioness, she growled slightly at the cub before leaning down and licking him. Steve was confused as hell and so were the other cubs, it turns out the lionesses names were nancy and robin, nancy was miked older sister and was kicked from the pack for defending mike and robin was kicked from her pack for liking lionesses, steve offered the both of them to travel with him and the cubs and they accepted, nancy told them there was a cave not far from here that was vacant. We walked for days and along the way we picked up three more cubs, all three of them were females.

 their names were El/Jane, Max, and Erica. Erica looked like Lucas but her fur was a lighter color, Max had light ginger fur and it shined in the light and El looked like Will but her fur was darker. Erica came looking for Lucas because they were siblings and Max and El left the pack for fun but got lost. Max didn't want to go back anyway because her older brother Billy had become leader and he was a dick.

And that makes the 10 of us, our own small pack.
