(time skip to tomorrow morning)

(Seokjin's POV)

Yesterday was such a bad day. Maybe today will be better. I woke up this morning and got ready fast. I wanted to see Mi-jin. I am missing her so much and I still feel that this could have been avoided if I kept up with her. Since i had extra pair of clothes here from last time I came , I changed into that, just casual pants and a random pink shirt I had. I threw it on and looked presentable. I then went out to the living room and walked to the door. Until I was stopped by a voice. "Hey where are you going?" Lisa came in and asked with her morning voice. "I'm going to see Mi-jin." She smiled at me. "Ok! Me and Jackson have to watch the kids, call me if anything changes or happens!" I smiled at her and nodded. I slid on my shoes and walked out of the apartment and ran to my car. I quickly drove to the hospital she was at. Once I got there I parked and ran inside up to the receptionist. "Hello sir visiting? Name of the patient please." "Jang Mi-Jin." she clicked through some things. "Ok i just need your name." "Kim Seokjin." She then printed out a visitor pass and gave it to me. I put it on and walked to her room. I remembered it from yesterday. I then arrived at the closed door. I took a deep breath and opened the door. I walked in to see the same thing I saw yesterday. Her motionless body lay in the same position. It broke my heart to see her like that. I walked over to the bed and pulled up a chair. A tear slipped down my cheek as I grabbed her hand and held it. "Good morning baby. Sleep ok? I didn't sleep well. I missed you by my side." my head fell down. Until I felt her hand move. I thought it was just me until I heard a faint mumble. "J-Jin." my head shot straight up.

(Mi-jin's POV)

"J-Jin." I slowly opened my eyes as light started to sting my eyes, taking away all the darkness. So I squinted. As I did so I saw a figure sitting next to me holding my hand. Where am i? I started to open my eyes more to see Seokjin sitting next to me holding my hand with tears flowing fast down his cheek. "J-Jin. W-Where am i? A-Are you ok?" i was really confused that the fact that i was talking just made him cry more. "Baby you're awake!" he said in a shaky voice. "Baby you're in the hospital, you got shot in the stomach and had surgery." "O-Oh, are you ok?" "I am now baby. I have missed you so much, I thought I wasn't going to see you again and I couldn't have that." he continued to cry and he kissed my hand he was holding. i tried to sit up but a pain stung my stomach. "Doctor!" Seokjin screamed. The doctor rushed in at Seokjin's loud voice. "Ah Ms. Jang, you're awake! That's a good sign. You need to take it easy, let me get you some more pain meds." "Doctor i will be right back i am going to make a call." he nodded at me. "Baby i am going to call your Siblings, ok i will be right back." I nodded and he kissed my forehead.

(Seokjin's POV)

YAY!! She is finally awake! I can talk to her and hear her sweet sweet voice again! I stepped outside to call Lisa. oh she will be so happy. Once I got off the phone with her and her quick attempt to get everyone ready to go , I called my Appa telling him we won't be at work for a while. I was going to stay with her through all of this. I then went back into the room to see the doctor gone and Mi-jin making grabby hands. Just like a lil cute baby. I walked over to her. "What does my baby need?" She looked at me. "I want cuddles." she said with a little pout. Aish she looks adorable. "I'm sorry but I can't take up your bed baby, when you come home, we can cuddle all day if you like!" she then had a little precious smile on her face. A little while later her family came to see her. They were all so happy to talk to her with a response coming directly from her. We did tell her about us staying at her apartment and she was ok with it.

(time Skip to around 7:30)

We stayed there all day. Once we had to go home we just went to get Mcdonalds since it had gotten late. We then went back to her apartment and got ready for bed. As I snuggled under the covers I was thinking about how happy I was to finally hear her voice. Today was such a good day.

(Time Skip to a week later)

Ah, I am so excited! Mi-jin is finally getting discharged from the hospital today! Her family left back to Busan after they found out she was leaving today. They said goodbye yesterday as the kids still have school. Before heading over to the hospital I packed a month's worth of stuff and brought it to her house. Since I am staying with her until she feels better, she will need help. I then got to the hospital and I signed in with the receptionist, we grew to know each other the more and more I came. She just let me go up. I walked into the room to see Mi-jin in her normal clothes cleaned, sitting on the edge of the bed. She still had the gauze wrapped around her stomach from her wound. The doctor came in with a wheelchair. "Ok, so she is free to go, here are her meds for the pain, make sure she only takes one a day if the pain is unbearable, call me if the pain keeps getting worse, next week we have a follow up to see how she is doing. Make sure she takes it slow, this week no solids, next week soft foods only, then we will see how it goes." "ok thank you doctor." We both bowed and he helped Mi-jin in the wheelchair. A nurse came out with me, she pushed Mi-jin in the wheelchair to my car. Once we arrived at my car, me and the nurse helped Mi-jin into my car. I bowed at the nurse. "Thank you ma'am, have a good rest of your day." She smiled at me. "Thank you sir! You too. Oh and here is her walker, she will need to use it while she is home, you just need to make sure you are with her when she uses it.'' I nodded, then she then walked away. I closed the passenger door. I then put her walker in the back of the car. I then closed the trunk and walked to the driver's seat. Once I got in the car I put the keys in the ignition. I looked at Mi-jin who looked tired but excited. I then took her hand and kissed it. "You're going home baby."

(Mi-jin's POV)

"You're going home baby." he is right. It's been a week since the accident and since my surgery and my stomach is really hurting. I was given meds before I left but I feel like they are starting to wear off. I haven't been home for a week and I really miss it. Seokjin told me that he is staying with me until I can do things myself. The ride was a bit short. Once we got to the building my face lit up to see my home and car again. "Let me help you baby." Seokjin got out of the car and walked over to my side. He opened the door and lifted me up bridal style. "Does this hurt?" I shook my head and blushed a bit. He just smiled and he slowly and carefully brought me up to my apartment. Once he unlocked the doors I got a whiff of my clean house. Everything was the way I left it. It feels soo good to be home.
