Dokja-Hyung is holding my hand!!!! *Squeals internally*

My face felt hot and the heat could be felt crawling down my neck.

But I suddenly snapped back to reality when I remembered that we were running for our lives.

Time was precious and one wrong move... We're dead.

Han Myungoh and Yoo Sangah were in front of Dokja-Hyung and I, and we were halfway across the long bridge when....

"Ah!! What is that!!!!???" Han Myungoh had let out a bloodcurdling scream.

There was a huge whirlpool in the centre of Han River, letting out splashes of water. And a giant monster was at the centre of the whirlpool.

If I remember correctly... This thing is call an Ichthyosaur.

I shivered as I realized something and unconsciously held a tighter grip on both hands.

"Yuito-ah, it's ok. Calm down. Everything will be fine..." Dokja-Hyung's soothing voice could be heard and I slowly relaxed a little and focused on running while making sure that Meow was safe on my other arm.

What that made me scared, was the size of that monster. It was TWICE the size of what we had seen earlier, and absolutely terrifying.

"This isn't a sea serpent.... It's a sea commander!" I whisper shouted in fear, remembering what Dokja-Hyung had said in the books I read.

I had never realized that short glace Dokja-Hyung spared me when I was mumbling in fear, thinking that no one could ever hear me.

According to my memories, .... A general sea serpent was only a 7th grade monster. Given that a 9th grade monster, the ground rat was difficult for normal humans to cope with, an average human would be torn apart by a 7th grade monster.

My heart thumped loudly in my chest as my breath became more and more uneven.

The remaining distance was around 200 metres. If my calculations were correct, we could cross before the bridge collapsed at our current speed.

But things weren't going as I had planned.

"There is no fun if the game is too easy." The Dokkaebi appeared once more.

Of course, my calculations were a story for that had no changing variables.
