Roller-Skating Maniac.

I had just gotten done with school, racing my best friend, (Your bffs name) to the bus stop. It was pouring down and we're lucky we weren't drenched like Rina was, she's the school basketballer, she's kind, too. 

(Bff's name) got there first because I dropped my notebook and waterbottle, if it weren't for that, I totally would've beaten them. Thank god, (friend name) was there to help me pick it up, I was a little soaked but (Bff's name) brought a jacket for me and I instantly got a bit warmer. 

"Hey, it's a bit colder on here than outside, eh?" (Bff's name) spoke, breaking the silence. 

"Yeah, it really is. Yesterday it wasn't so bad, a bit warmer but you know, this is the replacement bus and it's so small we're squeezing." I complained. Was I wrong though? Hell no.

Y/c walked on the bus, sitting down near their friend chatting until we randomly stopped.

"Hey! What the hell was that for?" the bus cop semi-yelled because children were in, she didn't want to scream so loud, but she cussed, and that was enough for the bus driver to get angry.

"This is going to be such a long ride home." (your bff) said, in reply to the bus-administrator. 

-time skip to your stop-

I picked my phone up, hands shaky from running a mile and wet, hair wet, face wet, everything is wet.

"Hey! Wanna go skating at Spinz?" (my bff) asked, messaging me. 

"sure, why not?" I replied. (Then I thought, was my reply a bit dry-?)

I had some skates from years ago, they fit me and weren't in bad shape at all, I put them in my duffel bag, asked my mom if I could go and headed out.

The grass is wet from the rain so it has dew, thankfully the rain stopped I enjoyed it but I didn't think I'd enjoy my skates wet. 

I biked to Spinz, and saw (Your bff) in the parking lot under the roof. 

"Hey! You're here! Let's go in and get some skates!" (Your bff) was so excited, they yelled. Who could blame them? They're excited!

"Hah, I brought my skates lose-" I sarcasstically said until I was pushed by no other than Y/c, weird, didn't expect them here. 

"You okay? Sorry, I didn't see you there." Y/c said, in apology. Their hair was still damp, but it shone a bit due to the light breaking through from the roof.

"Huh? Yeah, I'm fine..Sorry I didn't see you either" I looked away since I was blushing madly, not too mad since nobody can turn tomato red unless it's code-red. This was code-orange, near code-red but not quite. 

Y/c headed in, holding the door open for me, so I thanked them. Who wouldn't do that? It's manners.

I put my skates on and skated around a bit while (your bffs) parents paid us in, thanking (your bffs) parents we headed to the rink. "I'm so excited!!" (ur bff) said, "Me too!!" I said in reply.

I beat them to the rink, but how could I not? I'm pro, bitch-  We held hands, because apparently they didn't tell me "hah! i can't skate" until last minute. They're so wobbly I held on the tightest I could in fear that we'd collapse in a pair and not be able to skate anymore. They got the handle of it and skated to get a walker, but as soon as that happened I just of course, fell. But not into just anyone, I fell into y/c. 

That totally ruined my confidence in skating, falling in front of everyone, but mostly falling in front of Y/C. I wanted to scream in a bathroom for hours, but being gentle, I helped them up.

"Thanks, I uh...sorry.." They blushed a tad, I gave a confused face so y/c really just brushed it off with a smirk. 

"Want a drink? I fell on you just about two times, that's you know...a bit rude." Y/c said, being whole-hearted again.

"Oh, it's fine, really! There's no need for that." I said, gasping for air not only because you know..THEY WERE STANDING IN FRONT OF ME and due to the humidity in the rink. 

Y/c skating away somewhere I couldn't see that well. So Y/BFF came back with the walker they had promised to get themselves. 

"I fought a grandma's kid for this baby."

"You're a fucking queen" I said back to their amazing comment.

"Oh, by the way I saw you with Y/C. So being the amazing friend I am, I got it on record." 

"WAIT WHAT THE FU-"
