Chapters 7 - Danger

Xavier's POV

Everything was weird and seemed off right now. Stacy was missing after our last conversation at her salon.

There was not much I could do because Tamara was at the house when she wasn't at work and I had to becareful how I move.

More pressure on me. Medal wanted for move soon but I kept telling him to give me some more time.

I got up early one morning and checked Instagram only to see that Stacy's salon was on fire. I tried calling her but she wasn't answering my calls.

When my phone rang I swore it was Stacy calling back but it was my sister telling me that she was in an accident, someone ran her off the road.

"What's wrong?" Tamara asked.

Now I found it strange that she was ran off the road also.

"I have to go to the hospital, my sister has been in an accident" I told her.

I got dressed quickly. Tamara asked if she could come with me, I told her no because I wanted her to go to work.

I had a feeling that Medal was going to strike without me.

When I got the hospital I noticed a few familiar faces, these people were associated with Stacy.

I got information about Tassy from a nurse at the front desk then a Doctor took me to her room.

"Tassy" I said as I entered the room.

"Xav, I almost died" She said immediately as she saw me with tears running from her eyes.

"Do you have any idea what happen?" I asked.

This wasn't a strange coincidence, the same thing happened to me.

"No, I drove out of  my apartment and as soon I was on the road, out of no where a car swung on me and I ended up on the other side of the road. I got lucky Xav that it was early morning" She said.

I look at her leg, it was pinned up in a cast.

"Your leg is broken?" I asked.

"Fractured" She replied.

"Did you call your father?" I asked.

"I did, he said he was ok on his way here" She answered.

I was hoping to leave before he gets here.

"I'm going to talk to your doctor to see when you will be able to leave here" I told her.

She agreed and I left in searched of her doctor.

The hallway was still filled with people but I recognize the girl from Stacy's saloon more than anyone else.

"Nurse, is someone famous in here? The waiting area is jam packed" I asked a nurse that was closed by.

She looked around before she replied to me. " The artist Chalkline, his wife is here" She whispered.

It seemed like all the blood in my body instantly rushed to my head.

"Is she ok?" I asked.

You could easily tell that she gossip on a regular by the way she checked her surroundings.

"Hear seh her salon burn down and she passed out after hearing the news but she is ok and will be released soon" She said.

I was relieved.

"Ok, thanks" I said to the nurse then walk away to find Tassy's doctor.

Now I had Stacy to worry about along with everything else.
