As Geneva sat in her algebra 1 class she thought about what Tammy told her about Cooper Jenkins and how he treated her nicely but later in their relationship he hit her. "maybe Tammy is right" Geneva thought "Maybe i should leave Cooper Jenkins alone" Geneva then felt a soft brush tap along her shoulder as a deep but soft voice said "is anyone sitting here?" as Geneva looked to see who the student was she couldn't believe her eyes! it was Cooper Jenkins!! "hello anyone there?", cooper sarcastically said. "No, no ones sitting there, you can sit there if you want to", Geneva said as she blushed and smiled with glee. As cooper sat beside her thoughts raced through Geneva's mind about cooper, although Tammy had told her about cooper, Geneva's just couldn't resist cooper he was the most popular guy in school and knew everyone. " O.k class we are going to be doing a partner project in class over slope, you will be teamed with the person directly across from you" Ms. Andrews said. Oh gosh Geneva thought that means that im gonna be teamed up with------- "I guess we are gonna be partners" cooper said with a smirk. yeah i guess so! "Geneva excitedly said. "By the way class this project is due by next week so you will need to fully collaborate with your partners and make sure you get contact information" Ms. Andrews said. BRRRIIINNNG!! " OK class that was the bell don't forget about your projects and get your contact info, and ms Hartsfeild please stay after class." As Geneva walked towards ms. Andrews' desk she thought about if she was gonna talk to her about grad-lap as well. " Geneva i teamed you up with cooper Jenkins, now i understand he is the most popular boy here but i will tell you this don't fall under his spell a lot of my students have received broken hearts from it. OK ms. Andrews i will watch out for him.
