Chapter 4 The Lost City

Mugman's POV

When they entered the other side was submerged in water

Mugman:: what (his mouth was filled with water)

Cala: did you hear that

Mae: um Princess look at your head

Cala: what (grabs the three) what are you guys doing here

The three couldn't respond

Cala: right (she blew a bubble then put the three in it) are you three ok

Mugman: (breath heavily) yes, we're fine

Cuphead: where are we

Cala: well, we are in Atlantis but why are you here

Chalice: well, I saw Mugsy and you, we're all sad so why not

Mae: um princess I'm sorry to cut but we must hurry

Cala: ok Mae can you take care of them for me

Mae: as you wish princess

Cala: ok guys Mae will take of you because I have to go

Mugman: uh ok

Cuphead: you got

Chalice: sure

Cala: great Mae take them to my room

Mae: but Princess

Cala: look Mae if people see them, they'll kill them

Mae: as you wish (worried look)

Cala: right, I'll go now

Cuphead: so, Cala maria is a princess

Mae: yes, she is

Mugman: wait if she's a princess why would she leave this place

Mae; well, she was an adventurous girl she uses to sneak out of the palace to play with her friends

Chalice; but it beats the life she had eh boys

Mugman: yeah, if she stayed here, she wouldn't be in debt to the devil

Mae: what do you mean 'be in debt with the devil'

Mae: understandable ok let's go (grabs the bubble)

At Cala maria's room

Mae: (she places them on a bedside desk) here we are now stay

Cuphead: you got

Chalice: will do

Mugman: yeah

Then Mae left

Chalice: hey guys want to explore this place

Mugman; but did you hear Cala people will kill us if they saw us

Cuphead: oh, don't be that way Mugsy live a little

Chalice; besides this won't see us if we're ghosts so are you in

Mugman: (his getting conflicted but his curiosity took hold) fine but we have to keep low

Cuphead: that's the spirit

Chalice: alright hold my hands

Then the two boys hold on to their sister then they turn into ghosts

Chalice: ok keep holding me or you'll turn back to normal

Cuphead: can't we just possess someone

Chalice: yeah, you can I forgot about that

Mugman: so, let's go before someone enters the room

Chalice: alright

Chalice: took the boys and flew

As they were flying Mugman saw a door that was lavished with elegant design "fit for a king"

Mugman; guys look

Cuphead: is that a door

Chalice: you two want to check it out

Mugman: sure, what do you think Cups

Cuphead: yeah, let's do it

So, the three peeked their heads in the door then they saw Cala maria

Cala's POV

Cala: but father I can't do that I have my own life to live

Neptune: but this is for the good of the kingdom

Cala: but

Mae; um princess we have a situation

Cala: what (realizes) oh no let's go we'll talk later

Mugman's POV

Mugman: Chalice hurry

Chalice; I' am

Cuphead; come faster

Chalice: going as fast as I can

So, the three flew towards Cla maria's room when they entered there was no one there

Mugman: there's no one here hurry let's get in the bubble

Then they entered the bubble and then the boys let go of their sister's hands in turn turned them back to normal

Cala: (though the door) how did they even snuck out

Mae: (through the door) I don't know princess

Then the door opened

Cala: uh, Mae they are right here

Mae: I promise you, your highness they were not there when I came for you

Cuphead: (nervously) what are you talking about we were here the whole-time right Chalice

Chalice: (nervously) yeah, I'm pretty sure we were here right Mugsy

Mugman: (nervously) um uh yeah, we were here the uh the whole time

Cala; are you really stayed here is that true (serious) are you sure Mugsy "is it serious or is it guilt-inducing face"

Mugsy: (getting nervous) uh yep, we stayed here (gives in to his guilt) alright we snuck out

Chalice; aw Mugsy why

Cuphead: yeah, Mugsy why simp "there will be no back seat driving for this line"

Mugman: come on you can't blame me for this you want to go exploring

Cala; anyways how did you sneak out

Mugman: uh Chalice

Chalice; eh why not (turn herself to a ghost) here t is this is how we snuck out boys hold my hands

Then the two did then they too turn into ghosts then Chalice and the boys flew out of the bubble

Cala; what how

Chalice: well, there was a weird figure in an alley and it made me drink a potion

Cuphead: what like Porkins ones

Chalice: yeah, and that's it actually

Mugman; ok let's go back in the bubble

Then they entered the bubble they turn back to normal

Cala: Mae stay here and watch them

Cala: ok I need to go but please stay put

Mugman; we will but miss Mae you don't have to watch us

Cala: no listen to your princess don't let them out of your sight until I return

Mae: yes princess

Cala: alright I have to go

Cuphead: see ya

Chalice: yeah

But before she left, she gave Mugman a flying kiss
