Jaemin glanced out of the car window, watching the bushes, trees, pavements and sky become one big blur.

Jeno watched the younger intently before clearing his throat, "So have any of you guys got plans for tonight? We can have a sleep over at my place."

Chenle perked up, sitting forwards so his body wedged inbetween the passenger and drivers seat.

"Yeah that sounds good!" He chimed only to be rejected with a shake of Jaemin's head.

"Classes resume as normal tomorrow with temporary staff. My Pop's wouldn't be happy if I was late or missed a class just because your house is a 30 minute drive from my dorm."

Jeno smiled, "Well I already asked for their permission, so we're going regardless. I just wanted your consent for kidnapping."

Jaemin tensed, eyes wide as he looked at Jeno with his cheeky grin. A whole night spent at his crushes house with Chenle.

Lately he's been avoiding the older because of his persistent feelings that's only grown more fond of him.

The way he talks, the facial expressions he makes... even the way he smells just drives Jaemin's heart crazy.

At this rate he could have a heart attack from a crush.

"I don't know..." The blue haired whispered, looking out at the window and away from Jeno's heart throbbing smile.

As he contemplated all the things he could do that night and survive the true pain of love, he felt a warm hand rest against his knee.

"Is everything okay?" Jeno softly asks, putting half of his attention on Jaemin the other half on the road ahead, "Did something happen at home? Is Jisung and your Dad's okay?"

Jaemin smiled. 'He really is sweet.' He thought before shaking his head, "Everything's okay at home, Jisung's got more help and my Dad's are better than ever."

Jeno nodded, "And you? Are you okay?"

"I think so."

It wasn't strange for Jaemin to be excited and enthused one day and then to be secluded and withdrawn the next. Jeno knew some reasons to why Jaemin was like this, but his friend was more secretive than he let on.

Regardless of the reasons why he distanced himself, even though they had been friends for a long time, he respected his space and never brought it up unless necessary.

"Anyways, if you don't want to come round tonight that's fine, there's always another time." He says slowing down as they approach a red light, eventually coming to a stop.

"Hey, you still have me?" Chenle chimed in, leaning forwards in between the two heads at the front of the car.

Jeno scoffed, resting the palm of his hand against Chenle's head and pushed him back into his seat.

"Put your seatbelt on, you're still a child."

The small blonde scoffed, sitting himself down in a huff and buckled himself in. Once he was secured, he exaggeratedly threw his arms across his chest so they were folded and gave a slight pout of his bottom lip.
