This was an idea by @kuuinimei. Thank you for choosing me to make your idea come to life!
You and Mark are enjoying a day at the park. The fair is in town! You had a feeling about coming here. You like fairs and all, but this one in particular gave you a really weird feeling, but Mark being the big kid he is insisted on going. So, despite your better judgement, you came.
Being Saturday in LA, the place was packed, not to mention it's summer time and freakishly hot. Mark isn't too bothered by the heat though. His motto is, "The hotter it is, the less clothes you'll have on." What a perv.
You walk around, hand in hand, just enjoying the fair. You're looking off at the pretzel stand and you're about to ask Mark if you can go get one when you feel him tug on your arm and you're out of your daze. "What's up, Mark?" you question. He doesn't say anything, but he releases your hand but you still follow. You look around him and see what he's headed for. There's a small girl, maybe seven years old, sitting on a bench by herself crying. You know Mark can't resist cute things, much less resist helping someone.
He sits down nest to her and begins the questioning, "hey little girl, what's the matter?" "I lost my mommy," she replies in an innocent voice. "Do you know what she looks like?" he asks. "Yes, sir," she replies adorably polite. He stands back up and holds his hand out to her, "We'll help you find her."
After roaming around the fair for a good half hour, the little girl saw no sign of her mother. "You can stick with us. We'll keep you safe," Mark says down to her. It's so adorable to see him like this. His fatherly instincts are incredible.
We approach the strength game where you hit something with a sledge hammer to get it to hit the bell at the top. "Let a manly man do this," he says strutting up to the hammer. Of course, he gets the bell to ring. "Told you," he says to you as he passes you. The little girl spoke up, "Can I try?" Mark looks like he knows exactly what will happen, but he lets her anyway. She gets up there and picks up the hammer, struggling to pick it up. Then, to our shock, she rushes over to Mark and I and throws it at us with no problem. What the hell?
"Darkiplier is upset with you both. It should be him who lives and not you," her attention directed toward Mark, "and you," her attention back on you, "he wants you all to himself." The little girl turns around and calmly walks away. The woman who must be her mother come up to her and takes her hand and they both walk until they're out of sight.
Don't look for a part 2, but dat cliffhanger doe. This was cool. I loved it. And everyone else who has suggested stuff lately, I will get to it.
