Chapter 7 ~ Manipulation

After that intense little moment both of them had, Nightmare was still on the chair and waiting for Swad to finish washing the dishes.

He was bored and didn't know what to do. Afterall, he was alone with someone he couldn't trust at all. His crew misses him. He sighed at the thought of this.

After Swad finishing cleaning the dishes and calming down completely, he turned around and walked over to Nightmare.
He then sat down next to him once again.
Nightmare didn't bother looking up or next to him. He just didn't want to give him the attention he wanted from him.

Swad then placed one of his hand one the right hand of Nightmare. Nightmare flinched a bit and looked at the hand of Swad. He quickly yanked his hand away and hid them under the table.

Swad sighed, then spoke:

"You know... If you continue trying to piss me off, I will have to use violence, or... Even worse?~" he said with a smirk on his face.

Nightmare the groaned and looked far away from him.

"It was not even my choice to be here. You FORCED me." He then snapped his head at Swad "Why would I listen to a BASTARD LIKE YOU?!"  He heavily breathed at the tension of anger.

Swad narrowed his eyes, very disappointed and unhappy of his sudden sentence. He then gently answered Nightmare.

"Well, you should listen to the "bastard" like me, if you want your little friends alive... You wouldn't want them dead...  Or, am I wrong, Darling?~"

Swad then grabbed Nightmare's chin and stared at his eye. Nightmare suddenly calmed down, or in another way, he tried to keep his anger inside.

"Kill- them?"

Swad then nodded and let go if Nightmare's chin. He then spoke up again.

"So... Do you want them dead or alive?" He said while tapping his finger slowly on the table.

Nightmare groaned and crossed his arms. He guessed he had no choice but to accept.

Swad then thought that if he becomes once again violent in any way, he will make sure that Nightmare will never forget the day he will be tortured, once and for all.

"I want them alive." He mumbled.
"What did you say, Darling?~"

"I want them ALIVE!" He then looked at Swad once again as his eye glowed.

Swad was very surprised but then chuckled and then replied.

"If you want them alive you need to stop to act like a dog with rabbies" He chuckled even more.
Nightmare frowned and narrowed his eye at him.

Swad then calmed down a bit and cleaned his tears of joy away with his finger as he stared at Nightmare.

"You're so cute and funny when you're angry, my Darling~ This is so amusing...~"

"If you say so." Nightmare rolled his eyes and pouted like a child as he crossed his arms and turned his back to Swad.

Swad slowly got up and decided to kneel down infront of Nightmare as he gave him some advices.

"Darling, I know that for you, it is hard to understand that the one ruling here, is not you, but me. But it has been some months now and I think you're mature enough to act like your age."

Nightmare looked away but Swad got his attention by grabbing his hand.

"And if you can't do that in a few days, for exemple, if you try to break any of my rules, there will be sever consequences and you know that these are bad. You... Already experienced some of them~"

Nightmare's face was like a dog ready to bark at the top of his lungs but he stayed quiet to not face the other 'side' of Swad.

"I am sure that you can make it, Darling, and I know you need some time. But the thing is, I don't trust you enough. And for that, you need to show some real  love, and not just forced sentences out of your mouth. Believe me, I know when you lie~"

"You know when I lie? What do you mean by that? We've only known each other for some months! Not years!"

Swad shushed him with his finger, and oh my, Nightmare wanted to bite it so hard, but he sighed in anger.

"You're easily angry, huh? Don't worry, it will change in the future. Oh and to answer your question, don't worry, I just know you for a particular reason that I cannot say to you right now, for the "anger issue" you have. And I don't want to hurt your little face of yours~"

He then cupped Nightmare's chin and kissed him, however Nightmare tried to turn his head away but his grip was just so... Hard.

Swad pulled his face away and smirked at Nightmare.

"You're lucky I let you lie the last time. But this need to change, and for that, you need to listen to me carefully."

Nightmare just wanted to run away but just.. couldn't. He was so over by this never ending conversation and he was getting frustrated. He just wants to go away from this psychopath.

Swad sat down on his chair and then started to explain in details what he needed to do from now on.

"First off, I do not want you to talk back to me, such as insults, questionning my orders or even criticizing it, yelling back at me, or any facial expressions that can annoy me like your way to roll your eyes.

Second, you will always need to follow my orders. You not following them, will result in severe consequences such as being locked in my basement while not being fed for a week straight, or others, as it quiet depends on the order I asked you to do, or my mood.

Third, Do not break the rules I gave you before, it cant lead to consequences like I said.
Is that understood."

Nightmare was quite shocked at the amount of details and rules Swad gave to him. But he sighed and slowly nodded his head. Swad had a big smirk on his face, as he has now a lot of advantage on his little darling. Oh, this is going to be fun.
