Y/n pov

I walked out of the school gates with my headphones on not paying attention to who was around me. I did not like it mattered. I just wanted to get to my mom. I loved her so much. I just wonder how she still puts up with that son of a bitch of a father.

Back to when y/n was still a child

Throughout y/n life she had some difficult obstacles she had to overcome as a 9 old her parents were having money troubles at that time due to your fathers gambling and drinking addiction. Y/n's mother had just found out about where all the money had been going after her father had told them they were investing in a bigger home for the 3 of them since y/n's little brother had passed two months ago.

Yeah y/n had a little brother that she loved so much he was 4 at the time he died it had broken the family's heart. Y/n's brother died because of a disease called hemophilia (where your blood doesn't clot normally).

But that is also when the arguing started her father had accused her mother of doing this to the family saying that she only ever wanted a girl and no boys of course her mother denied it saying she did nothing wrong. Both parents were yelling at each other as y/n was in her room playing with her dolls it had become a normal situation after Rory had died.

She heard screaming, suddenly it had stopped and there was silence which made her scared and rush down stairs to see her mother passed out on the floor with a cut on her forehead bleeding.

She rushed to her mother, shaking her to get up as she looked at her father with tears in her eyes she yelled.

Y/n: WHAT DID YOU DO!

Y/f/n: Stop screaming you brat i did nothing. He said as he took a sip of his beer

Y/n: Lier you hit her. You asshole!

As y/n said this her father stood up and walked over to the small girl slapping her across the face and yelling

Y/f/n: YOU UNGRATEFUL BITCH I DID EVERYTHING FOR THIS FAMILY AND THIS IS HOW YOU REPAY ME?

Y/n looked him in the eyes and said

Y/n: You are not my father and you never will be. She said glaring at him

Since that day her monther and father had pull this bullshit of a play in front of y/n to make it seem like that day was a "bad dream" even though they knew she wasn't dumb. She always knew what was happening. She knew that her father was still the same, hitting her mother, drinking and sleeping around while her mother would cry at home.

She couldn't do anything because no matter what she wouldn't leave him so she gave up and turned to drugs for comfort.

End of flashback

Y/n pov

When I think about it now, I don't know how to feel, the people I call my "parents" have lied to me and didn't even try to protect me from the outside world or even themselves and it hurt me the more I thought about it.

Her thoughts where cut off by the honking of a car passing by yelling at her to watch where is going

Man: WATCH WHERE YOU ARE GOING!

Y/n didn't say anything and kept walking to the hospital

At the hospital

Y/n walked in and asked for what room number her mother was in

Y/n: Hi can i have the room number for Y/m/n l/n please.

Nurse: Are you a family member?

Y/n: Yea i am her daughter

Nurse: Ok her room number is 402 on the second floor

Y/n: Thank you. She said walking away

As y/n reached the room she looked inside and to see her mother on the bed as someone sat beside her holding her hand. Making her walk in as the person turned around

Y/f/n: Hello y/n. He said

Y/n: Hi. She said quietly as she sat at the other side of her mother

There was just silence between the two. The only thing that could be heard was the heart monitor and the breathing of the other two, y/n didn't know what to say. Neither did she want to say anything to him, probably knowing that he had something to do with this.

But that didn't stop her father from saying something to her

Y/f/n: She was always a cheerful soul.

Y/n: Don't talk about her as if you loved her.she hissed

Y/f/n: You don't need to be so mean to me, I am your father.he said

Y/n: And? She answered blankly looking at him

About 10 minutes went by and the doctor came in to say that visiting ours where over and that they had to leave which means y/n had to leave with her dad back to the home she hasn't been in for over 3 months those 3 months felt like 3 years to her but she couldn't really say anything. Considering she had nowhere else to go.
