I stayed in the trees leaning my back against a tree. Ever since this dude came into my life, it had gotten really crazy. I peeked my head out from behind the tree, to see him sitting on the bench, his leg bouncing up and down. A girl with long, raven hair, a Starbucks cup in hand came walking over to him. I admit, she was pretty cute. She sat down beside him, wrapping her arms around his neck. I couldn't hear what they were talking about, but they both had pretty big smiles on their faces. He said something to her, and then got up and left. I exhaled. Here goes nothing.

I walked over to the bench and sat down. She looked up from her phone and smiled at me. She had brown eyes, and in the sunlight, they looked like deep pools of honey. Her smile immediately made me smile back. "Hi," I dropped my smile to a grin. "Hi, how are you doing?" She turned off her phone and set it in her lap. "I'm alright, how are you?" "I'm doing pretty good." I found myself getting lost in her eyes, we sat in comfortable silence for a few minutes. "I'm sorry you're just really pretty," I blushed. "Oh, no no no, it's okay! You're really pretty too." "So, tell me about yourself." I crossed my legs. "Um, my name is Kristina, I'm 15. Umm, yeah, I don't know. What about you?" "My name is Allison, I'm also 15, so that's pretty cool. Uh, do you have a boyfriend or anything?" "Um, yes, I do. His name is Lucas. Do you?" "No, I don't..." Just as I said that Lucas came walking over from the bathrooms. "Hey Kris, oh, I see you met Allison." He sat down next to her. "Oh, this is the Allison? Oh, well that's awesome, it's so great to meet you. Lucas told me all about you and how you're the reason his pup is all good." She smiled at me. "Yeah, yep, that's me," I smiled back. "Well, I'd better get going. Bye guys," I got up and started to walk away.

I don't know what the hell that was about. All Lucas was telling me was that she was such a bitch, and a bad person, but after meeting her, she seemed really nice, and they seemed to have a good flow together. So, either she was a bitch and a bad person, or he was a liar. I would like to believe the first option, but who knows?

I walked home, and I walked inside. "Hey sweetheart. What were you up to?" my dad looked up to me from his recliner. "Oh, nothing really, just hanging out with friends." I lied.

I don't really know why, but I don't like to tell my dad about boys. He always just doesn't like them without getting to know them and tries to get me to forget them and ignore them. I've lost three almost boyfriends because I thought I could tell him.

"Oh, sounds like fun," he sets his beer down on the table next to him. It's not even 5 yet. It's only 3. I'm starting to get tired of this. He drinks during the day and as soon as it hits him, he knocks out like a light, leaving me to try to wake him up, and he gets really angry, and he yells and breaks things.

I go to my room, so I can get on my laptop, and try to just ignore what will inevitably happen later. Just as I sit on my bed and am about to pull my laptop out from under my bed something hits my window. I look up, scared of what might be there. I see Lucas standing on the fire escape knocking against the glass. I hold my finger up to my lips. I tiptoe over to the window, quietly opening it. "What the hell are you doing?" I whisper. "I wanted to come talk to you," he says. "Shush! My dad is in the living room, he can't know you're here." I whisper yell. "Fine, fine, just let me in." I move aside, as he crawls through the window. He sits on my window seat, and gestures next to him. I sat down. "Okay, what do you want?"

"I broke up with Kris." He crosses his hands in his lap. "Oh?" I feel a smile tugging at my lips, but I bring it down. He's single now. "Yeah. She, uh, didn't take it too well." He bites his lip. "I'm sorry," I rub his arm. He looks up at me. I swallow. His lips part. I glance at his eyes, and look down to his lips, quickly looking back up again. He cups my face in his hands. I scoot closer to him. He brings my face closer to his, only a few centimeters between us. I close the distance, gently pressing my lips into his. He deepens the kiss, and I wrap my arms around his neck. He slowly pulls away, pushing his forehead against mine. "I really like you, Allison. Like a lot." He stutters. "I like you too, Lucas." He kisses me again. "Will you... would you like to be my girlfriend?" He looks deeply into my eyes. "I'd love to."
